Dale, Could you soak it in vinegar water (to set the colors) then block it before going further? Perhaps that would allow you to even it up a bit? After it’s complete, it will be such a treasure for you and your family😊
Is it safe to soak it in vinegar water? I blocked it with the steam iron, and it is straight. I am using a very thin batting to stabilize it more as well.
