I have always wanted a place to sit outside and craft away. Up until now we have had rain and bugs, hoping now we get sunshine and gentle breezes… perfect weather for working outside! Thanks for watching!

I am just doing running stitch and a few other embroidery stitches on my pieces. It has given the cloth such a nice texture! Thanks for watching!

Sweet little Olive, a baker already! A nice little community parade. Some of those tractors were old, I loved the horses! Oh yes Dale, I would really like to try making the bear along with you because I have been admiring the bear you are making for Olive. 💕

That’ll be a lovely bear! I was working on a button project while watching this episode. About berries: we have planted a black and a red currant bush in our little garden and now the red currant bush was loaded for the first year. It’s still small but I made jelly and froze it just leaving one little container out to try right away. So good. I’m 66 and has never done it but I remember mom making jams. She sterilised jars and all that which I’m glad I don’t have to do! Next year maybe we’ll have black currants too.. here in Norway we pick blueberries and cloudberries as well as lingonberries ( cowberries or fox berries might also be an English translation). We also pick wild raspberries, which I hated doing as a child since they grow in places with a lot of rocks and bushes so it’s hard to walk. Now we have a garden variety that we enjoy.

This is the first year my red currant bush has produced enough berries to make jelly. I have raspberries too, but they haven’t done well this year because I cut them back too far last year. I am making rhubarb jam today. I sterilize my jars and process everything in a water bath. Hope to do
Some marmalade next. Tis the season to preserve food for the winter!
      Thanks for watching!
