The hat box turned out lovely and using it to store Christmas gifts in is such a good idea. I always forget where I put early presents. 💕

I forget too, and often find things after Christmas that I’d made for a Christmas gift!🙄

A beautiful rescue Dale. I especially like the tulle skirt on the lid. I think you have preserved the hatbox for another 100 years and it is very pretty!
I’ve never liked the finish of actual mod podge, it always stays a bit sticky and brush strokes are visible. I’d love to see your process as I have several shoeboxes with attached lids that I want to decorate.
    Great job!

Thank you. I will do a small box on video. I agree about the mod podge, not worth the money, when a much cheaper and better alternative is available!

I would be interested in seeing you do a video of decoupaging a box from beginning to end. I bought some small boxes a long, long time ago with the intention of decoupaging them, but just never got around to doing it, probably because I have never decoupaged anything before and am a bit hesitant to do it when I don't know exactly how to do it.

I will do a video. I will announce on the community page on my site when I will be doing it. If you are subscribed to my channel you will see the announcement
