Anne Boleyn's marriage to the mercurial Henry VIII is threatened by the presence of the sweetly cunning Jane Seymour.
Some of you might have remembered that back when I used to make Tudor vids, I did a video to the same song, using Bessie Blount as Jane Seymour. Well, now that Jane has been featured in the show, I finally decided to remake it because I couldnt get it off my mind. Obviously, those who are familiar with the series will notice that I only used Season 2's Anita Briem as Jane and failed to incorporate Annabelle Wallis, the replacement in Season 3. The reason, selfishly, is because I absolutely adored Annabelle's Jane and couldnt bear to malign her character on the show, whereas Anita, though indescribably beautiful, played a very sneaky and conniving Jane.

Poor Anne. I mean I get that he divorced Catherine Of Aragon because they had been married for 20 years and inky one daughter but he was married to Anne for like 2 years and she had one kid and 2 miscarriages (I mean the dead baby birth one too) so he had her killed......Anne clearly went through the worst fate then any of his other wives, number 2 being Katherine Howard. I'm sorry if you like Jane but I'm more of an Anne Boleyn person :)

Maybe if you did your reseatch you would've find out that Anne had many features for which she could be admired. But people still blame her, as well as Jane, for Henry's deeds.

Catherine of Aragon had more pregnancies too. If you see the Wikipedia, it writes that she had two miscarriages, two stillborn babies, a baby girl who lived just a few hours and a boy who lived 52 days. So - including Mary - she had seven pregnancies, but only Mary survived and grew up.
Unlike most people I prefer Anita over Annabelle as Jane. Because Jane seems like a totally different person in season 3... I think season 3 ( Annabelle ) portrays Jane as too much of a saint, and while I believe she was surely not evil, she knew well enough what she was doing and had no scruples about getting rid of her predecessor..so she was definitely no saint! I think Anita portrays her more realistically, as a human being with flaws..whereas season 3 makes the public too partial to Jane..
but the show did not last long for Jane Seymour of real life since she died a year after her predecessor.
Aside from that..Anita Briem is really stunning! I really would have loved to see her play Jane to the end.. People only like Annabelle better because she is playing such a saint that you gotta have sympathy for her ( once again: not realistic and not how I think the real Jane would have been..and now you see only the whole bad side of Jane portrayed by Anita and nothing but the good side portrayed by Annabelle..argh this is why I hate it when they change actors )
No way. Natalie was PERFECT for Anne Boleyn.
Neat idea. I dont think Jane gets enough credit, being seen as a mere doormat by most people without other sides to her. It was interesting to see her a bit more fleshed out.

In my opinion Annabelle Wallis was the better Jane__BUT most beautiful was Anne and Natalie Dormer was the perfect actress:)

I don't say Anne was not hot and very nice,but the two Jane were the most beautiful women in the Tudors!I'm not surprised she caught Henry's eyes.I can't decide if Anita or Annabelle was more beautiful,but the second acctress was like an angel.
I love this so much. I love Anne and I feel it was nice to give her a more angsty view. Most videos I see of her don't really show she had a heart. She was a woman.
It's a creative interpretation from Anne's perspective but in any case, I do not believe that either of them was the "evil" one. That's a very simplistic view of character. Lady Anne may have been manipulative and scheming but Jane Seymour was no innocent ingenue.She was old enough to know that she was playing for high stakes and in order to succeed she would have to dispose of her predecessor as ruthlessly as Anne did Queen Katharine. Even more so, since Anne had to die for her to succeed.
I love it; it's beautiful, as always. And I concur with your feelings about Annabelle's Jane. I couldn't help but like her, though it probably had something to do with Anne no longer being in the show.
I liked Anita as Jane but I also like Anabelle. I didn't realize the switched Janes. The actresses both looked alike.
This video was beautifully done. I loved the music too. As for the Jane of second season I loved her alot. I wished she was in the third season. I didn't like the 3rd season Jane. Excellent video Gemini12590. I enjoyed it. =)~

It's not Wyatt. She's hugging Mark Smeaton because Madge just rushed in with the news that Henry has been injured in a joust and it's thought he is likely to die.
Not a huge fan of Jane Seymour but this was beautifully put together :)

She did not plot against Anne, if anyone did it was her brothers/father. There is no real proof that she had any ambition to the throne for herself.
MelinaPendulum There were partisans for both sides. For Anne, there was her family: her parents, brother George, and her maternal uncle the Duke of Norfolk. For Jane, her brothers, Edward and Thomas. Also, Anne had managed to alienate those who would have supported her.
Wonderful work! I'm sort of glad you didn't use Annabelle. It seemed to work better with Anita.

I believe the scene you are referring to is in episode 8 of Season 2 after the confrontation between Jane Seymour and Anne Boleyn. Queen Anne frets about removing Mistress Seymour from among her ladies while she's pregnant and her father tries to calm her down.

I think xSakuraAlice was referring in particular to Anita Briem's portaryal of Jane in season 2. The actress plays the character as deceptively sweet and innocent but just as ruthless, ambitious and cunning as Anne has been criticized as being. Annabelle Wallis's portrayal of Jane in season 3 is much more temparate.

Poor Anne. Jane gets her karma from diyng when she delivered a son to the King . Anne take her from the King . IT was suppose to be Anne to have a son and because of Jane she lost her baby and make the King hurry to kill Anne. So she never had a chance to give a son. I don't like Jane.

I know. I especially find that ironic considering Jane did not have any nudity in season 3. Their wedding night was the most chaste scene ever and the only shot of her in bed with Henry, she was completely covered up.

I have nothing against Anita Briem, but her performance left a sour taste in my mouth. Despite her beauty, I found her character very cold and conniving. I heard a rumor that this was one of the reasons they recast her. Along with Anita's own reservations, the audience feedback wasn't very positive. I also read that a scene which had been filmed for the season 2 finale - where Jane refers to Elizabeth as a bastard - was cut bc Hirst felt it would bias the audience against Jane.

I know people have theor opinions about these beautiful ladies and their faveriotes. But both anne and jane were women seduced by the king. In the end henry didnt deserve neither of them i think thats onyl aswell why jane gave up her life after the birth of edward. Got im nothinking of an enemies to lovers storyline for anne and jane

Anne deserves what happened to her. Only Queen Catherine of Aragon is the true, legitimate, royal blood Queen. Queen Catherine has a strong faith in Catholic. When Anne messed up with her, karma hits her really hard.
