    I read somewere change lubricants in the supercharger, rear differential, oil and coolant. I've seen 675 horsepower and close to the sane in nutemeters of torque. I know they have changed intakes, exhausts and added radiators for additional cooling. There is a massive learning curve on these cars. I mean in 2009 the group Rocket ran an XF at 225 miles an hr on the Utah salt flats. It's on RUclips . Good luck with your endeavors. I'm keeping the XF for family but heading for an 2018 f type R

    • @69racer69
      @69racer69  4 года назад +1

      The day to day driving is the biggest improvement I think. In this weather I haven’t been able to floor it, so all the driving has been day to day, and it feels SO!!!! Much better. I will do a video about how the car feels and the difference it has made now it’s been a week. The gearbox doesn’t need a mod no. You can get the boxes mapped and that will sharpen it up even more than it is if you want it. The Jag box is so fast anyway I think you only need the box map if you’re really into playing

      It’s a safe map, developed and tested for a long time. Of course it will add extra stress at extreme times, but how often are you red lining the car? The rest of the time it is actually safer then a standard map because it fuels the car properly and will reduce unburnt fuel bore washing the cylinders, so this will lengthen the life of the oil and lessen the wear on the internals.

    I love my XF and with stock 340Bhp, it's only got half the power yours has.
    and why don't you marry your girl, she's every petrol heads dream wife!
    So is mine though. ;-)

    Hi mate, do you know what the oil temp is running at after the remap and mods?

      I can plug in my OBD and find out, but I wouldn’t have the before and after to compare.
      Plus I use different oil now, so that may also have an effect.
