    I rather enjoyed this. I know youtubers try to push it his toward the germans and Is 500 but it performs far worse. The tlx type s is a better performing car here. The ES F sport just won’t hang with it. Maybe an ES F Sport performance comes in the future but Lexus has the IS 300/350/500
    Acura simply has unfortunately lost the plot with the tlx. While the ES is less sporty it’s nailed everything else particular being much roomier and being a better sedan (including a great hybrid). Acura faking rwd looks has destroyed interior room. It’s crazy to think in the tl best days it outsold the es. Last year the Es sold nearly 4 times the amount of tlx.
    Overall both nice sedans. Thanks for posting.

    NIce video. I am a big Acura fan and have been since I was a kid. These two cars really are incomparable. The reason being is a 3.5L V6 that takes regular unleaded vs a 3.0L V6 turbo that requires premium unleaded. The Acura is competing with the sports sedan and the ES 350 is just a standard sedan.
    Personally, I don't need nor do I want a premium fueled vehicle. Not only that the TLX does not get good gas mileage at all. The ES 350 is just a better car all around when it comes to luxury and long-term costs.
    Again, I love Acura products my wife drives a 2023 Acura MDX and she loves it, but if I had to pick out of these two it would be the ES 350 all day.

      Glad that's what you would pick! I'd take the Acura over the ES allay. I'd never buy one, but the sporty feel to me is what I'd prefer!

    Driven both of these cars, the Lexus F Sport is a way more luxurious car, especially the interior materials are of a much higher quality. I would say that the Lexus ES in the white or the silver color they have is a much better looking car. Was considering the Acura for its handling but the fit & finish was simply subpar to the Lexus at its price point. (also the backseat of the Acura is horrible)
    Disappointed in Acura despite being a fan for quite some years, Lexus takes the win for me for its quality.

    The Acura TLX with the standard turbo four cylinder and front wheel drive would’ve been a better comparison. But a turbo six cylinder ES would be nice. Car sales would probably go up.

      I did a bunch of research and these were the two to compare.

  • @JessicaHauserman
    @JessicaHauserman Месяц назад +2

    It's not really fair to compare a Type S to any trim of the ES, but here we are. Lol. I own this exact same Lexus and while I like the sporty look of the Acura a bit more, the Lexus is a better car in almost every other way. Again, can't really compare the drivetrains though so I'm leaving that out.
    The biggest dealbreaker for me was the lack of touch screen in the Acura. And the fact that they don't offer a NA v6. I don't want a turbo 4 and a turbo 6 just isn't on my radar. I mean the Lexus doesn't even require premium gas!! It's a no brainer for me.
    I'd also like to say I came from a '21 Camry with the same drivetrain as the Lexus, so I knew what I was getting myself into. It's a phenomenal car. And I have the red interior in mine which I LOVE.

      These are the competitors though, so showing what you get with each one..If that's what you'll enjoy, great! The Lexus is a fun car, but the turbo power is what some of the Lexus models are missing.
