Hopin the leak was real. Virtua Fighter but with supers akin to Yakuza Heat Actions would go crazy. An Akira super thats like the Kiryu face slam followed up by the knee, maybe an addition over the shoulder grab slam?! Crazy
I know this is proof of concept and that the TGA stuff is newer.....This game was wild from the moment RGG said, "Let's do this fucking shit." I hope the slomo sidesteps and counters make it to the final print. I hope the ground game is contextualized like in a pro wrestling game, as the concept here suggests. I'm not sure how cleanly the hitboxes in this proof will translate to live fire gameplay. I'll be happy even if it doesn't. VF, to me, has always been the smoothest playing fighter on market. I hope VF opens the door for other classic Sega fighters like Vipers, Last Bronx, or Megamix.
Looks like a movie. Maybe the guard button features dynamic animations? This may sound odd, but this game reminds me of Def Jam: Icon, but good. In the announcement trailer the game the two guys were playing had no energy gauges.
Virtua Fighter 6 is going to sh!t in Tekken 8's mouth. Tekken is a joke with it's over-the-top animé cartoon cutscenes everytime you press a button. The entire heat-system, the forced 50/50s, the unseeable and unreactable mix-ups only make Tekken 8 a casino game. VF6 is going to end Tekken.
I hope the defense on this game is like sifu like you have to press button when to block or when to dodge high, mid, low, like training your reflexes, not like tekken you have to guess all the time we are not psychic to read all minds lol 😂
We desperately need an online version of Sifu. The average fight in that game exceeds the cinematic quality of this game 10 fold. Sloclap pioneered the martial arts genre in modern engines. Half the stuff people are gushing over in this 'non-gameplay' trailer was already present in an 8 year old indie game...
@@uniquename6925 yeah when sifu first came out I was wishing they make an online for that cause that game was good, I've played it but never beat the final boss lol! 😂
@@rangershot If you didn't know, Sloclap had a previous title with very similar combat, Absolver--and it had online games. It was a deckbuilding martial arts online fighting game. You could completely customize your move set, dress your character with modular clothes, and it had cinematic dodges with slow down similar to this trailer. The collision detection was legendary with completely accurate hitboxes, and you could literally take screenshots with blows passing within hairs breadth of a character model. I believe the blocking system was more left/right, but you could parry in either direction and react to which side moves were coming from as you mentioned. There were different styles with a focus on parrying/sidestepping/armoring. And did I mention the deckbuilding/custom movesets? You literally explored an open world to discover and learn different moves from fighters. You'd have to parry/dodge a move a certain number of times to learn the new move and add it to your deck. It was a legendary game, I'm surprised more people don't talk about it in the FGC. Only years later (when I got into traditional fighting games) did I realize how special a game it really was. I don't even know if the servers are up now, but the games are worth a search on youtube to see gameplay of it.
YERRRRRRR
YEEERRRR!

Nice Herman Miller
A comment for the Algorithm
I finally got a PS5 Slim
That game has nvidia proprietary technology since day 1 and Nvidia work's a lot with AI. Nvidia can make a game work at those levels.
lmao the Yakuza music
C O N T E N T
Real talk: Not only the movement is smooth, but it looks like Sega took notes from DOA.
Yes! since we cant have doa7 im looking forward to the new virtua fighter a LOT!
@@TokyMikudon't loose hope the runout mill has been rife with new a new Team Ninja project.

I buy a ps5 only for GTA 6 and Virtua fighter, i don't even wanna play other games now 😅, i can't wait to see more of this game.
If the concept was in the game man
This game would be the envy of all
Envy.
Best VF game ever hands down.
Make no mistake, VF is kung-fu inspired.
