Let us make it more simple.
Boil milk cool it to about 55 degree centigrade ( you can put finger without burning) add sugar after cooling as per taste, add flavour as per your choice. Add 2 tablespoon butter milk or one tablespoon curd ( yogurt) smash it spoon and keep it aside for 4 hours.
