this is so timely im getting the same model ! but im planning to get it on apple educ ph instead bc its way cheaper + it comes w a free pencil pro na T__T hopefully this iPad is very future-proof upgrading is so expensive
i had the real paperlike screen protector in my last ipad! it was nice at first when i first started drawing on an ipad but 3 yrs later i removed it wagahaha i think it damaged my pencil tip:(( now i dont rlly feel the need for a paperlike one cause i can draw just as smooth!

Do you notice the lag while drawing or writing? Since its only 60hz screen. My phone has 120hz refresh rate and I put it on 60hz to check and it was unbearable at least on the iPhone while scrolling when reading.
I'm facing lot of heating issue in ipad air m2 11 inch when I use apple notes just for 5-10min it start heating like hell nd pencil also lag so I put in on replacement 🥹🙂
Mine gets very warm using good notes because it has a high cpu usage. If you want to use good notes keep brightness a little lower, not at maximum, either way that’s bad for your eyes. But if you want to use a less consuming cpu app try notability. It is normal for the device to be warm or very warm during extensive usage or while gaming or using any other cpu consuming app. The iPad will protect itself from overheating and prevent you from using it by blocking the screen until it is safe to use again. So as long as you do not see a temperature warning, even if it is very warm, it will not burn you, you are safe and your iPad is in great condition. Battery is great. The pro M4 does the same either way so yeah.
