Study Syntropic Farming. It is successional agroforestry. It takes plant light requirement in consideration when we plant it. Eg: papaya need full sun (no shade).
Hello Jon, so glad to see you back again. I have a plot of land 60mX40m in a most-raining area. I am now planning wild trees around 30 trees as border fences, meanwhile, I would like to have more variety of fruit trees on my land. Could you please recommend the zoning? Especially, with the banana trees as brother-sister to take care of the fruit trees. Thank you very much.

Great advice with banana co-planting. Thanks
I like using the vetiver and legume ground cover around my baby trees and bamboo as well as banana. Vetiver mulch is very good.
