ARA is actually already integrated in Logic. 🙂 If you experience any glitches, that’s unfortunately beyond our control. It’s up to the DAW developers how deeply and how well they want to implement any ARA features. Please feel free to contact them directly.
Why is pro tools jumping around when I press space bar? It seems like it jumps to a later part of the song for a split second and other times when I stop playing it will show me empty bars like 30 bars later in the session instead of what i have selected
I have the free trial of Melodyne 5 and using it as a plug-in with Logic Pro. It's installed at the top of my vocal list and when I right click on a clip, Melodyne isn't showing up. What am I doing wrong
Each DAW has a different level of ARA integration. In Pro Tools, right-clicking brings up the Melodyne option, but this doesn’t work in Logic. If you need some assistance, please feel free to contact our support team: www.celemony.com/support - Thanks!
Just wondering if you change short cuts if it will conflict with Pro Tools? 10:54 Second question: why does one need to register the Pro Tools licence. If you have it then it should just work, rather than put a layer of admin in the way?
The visuals of Melodyne are not delay compensated when using via ARA in Pro Tools. Avid blames Celemony and Celemony blames Avid, but both agree that this is not correct behavior/a bug. Anyone got a solution for this?
This is from our manual: “The mouse wheel (...) can be used for horizontal and vertical scrolling.” - If you need assistance with this, please contact our support team: www.celemony.com/support
@@HLRxxKarl Oh, sorry. In this case, see this part from the same manual: “Press [Command]+[Alt] and use the mouse wheel to zoom both axes simultaneously.”
Thanks for your valuable tutorials. The manual is near-useless...an insult; like all software manuals, it is is an advertisement of the features, focusing on the WHAT and ignoring the HOW. I just bought the Studio version and the steps for zooming in the so-called manual in no way apply to the GUI. I think the technical writer at Celemony might be smoking way too much weed.
We actually get lots of compliments for the detailed manual. If you need assistance, our support guys will be all ears. See here: www.celemony.com/support
This video was super helpful, thank you!
Glad we could help!
I would love it if you could add a highlight circle so that when you say "click here" I can tell where "here" is 😉Thanks for all this great content!
Can't we make the melodyne window full screen? Seems so dumb to have to use it like that
The best way to zoom in Melodyne is to Alt+Cmd+Left mouse click and drag
Yes, that’s another option.
integration into Logic Pro would be amazingg. ARA is cool, but a lil glitchy here and there

I'm looking for a way to play just selected blobs cannot find it yet if available
Select the blobs and hit Option/ALT + the space bar. 😎

This would be a good question for Avid’s support team. 🙂

@@celemony Thanks for your reply. I also noticed that the undo and redo buttons don't work in Melodyne. How do you get them to work?
Again, please contact our Tech Support people, they will be happy to help.
What versio of pro tools are you using? Why does the screen all so dark blue????
This is Pro Tools 2022.9.
You can change the appearance of ProTools in ProTools preferences. Classic is the grey rather than black background.

Changing shortcuts shouldn’t cause conflicts. Shortcuts are taken from whatever window is in focus.
I ended up learing some Pro Tools features I didn't know existed.

What is ARA in Pro Tools?
It seems not in sync anyways for me? Maybe a little more so when I turn off Delay Compensation
Celemony will really do anything except let us zoom in using the mousewheel like every other DAW on the planet.

@@celemony But I'm looking for ZOOMING, not scrolling.
