LineageOS is now official on the Switch. Would you be able to cover how to install it to the eMMC alongside HOS?
I was able to boot into Android a few times no problem. But now, more often than not, it freezes at that beginning screen with the blueish color and large hashtag symbol in the lower right. 4 out of 5 times it freezes. I haven't changed any settings and haven't installed any plugins. My SD card has no issues. How do I fix this so it boots into Android 100% of the time?

@@gr3863 Yeah man I can help you BRO!! What worked for me is to slide off the joycons when you boot Android. The Switch is basically a tablet anyway. Then when you get into Android and you're on the home menu with your icons like Google Play and all that, slide your joycons back on! Simple! Please like and subscribe if this was helpful to you. @@gr3863 Hey for some reason I was never notified of this comment but I had a work around that sort of fixed the problem. What I had to do was before I clicked on the launch Android button while in your Hekate menu, remove the joycons, then launch Android. That worked for me. You can reconnect the joycons once you see Android has booted up showing the clock. Hope this helps.

I have already set the partition for my Android when I originally modded my switch, so would I just skip the partition part and drag the files onto my SD and then just flash Android? Also, my understanding is I wouldn't lose any data now due to not needing to partition, right? Thanks
it took 4 hours to put my backup back onto my switch im cooked 😭
Okay so I did something real dumb and I deleted my bootloader folder WITHOUT a backup AFTER I installed Android and had everything setup. I thought I’d have to restart but all I had to do was re add the bootloader folder and the ini folder inside it and my switchroot works again 🤣💀

i installed andriod 10 on my switch I went to payloads to open fusee and it said "A fatal error occured when runnig fusee. Invalid GPT signature" any ideas? I also tried downloading my fusee
After trying different configs, found that the issue is during partitions creation. You need at least for emummc to chose 29 full or more, then the desired space for android and follow the guide :)
If I already modded my switch with atmosphere hekate, can I load the android mod on it as well?

If I set my Android Partition size to 32gb does that mean I wont be able to exceed 32gb when it comes to apps and files?

Yes that is correct. You should probably partition it to 128 GB because some of those Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 games can take up a lot of space. Good luck!
@@Cyko.. Hold on. ps2 isos are saved in sd card folder separate from ps2 android emulator. i mean, you can change ps2 iso path to anywhere in sd card. correct.
@@troylollysaf9311 Did you pay attention to how old this comment was? There was no “accessing the SD card” option since this version of Android used scoped storage. 🤦
@Cyko.. Never mind. I Just flashed android on switch v1. I put ps2 isos in sd card path and put android partition to 16gb just enough space for emulators and movie apps. All large games goes to sd card path.

DO NOT REPLACE THE BACKUP FILES!!! I did all the steps accept for the last one, when restoring the backup files I clicked replace by mistake.
My switch will not book into the emmunand, I get this error instead:
Unkown pkg1 version.
HOS version not supported!
Or emuMMC corrupt.

Quick question. I did the nxsettings to have my joycons connect to my switch on android. Can I just take another set of joycons and connect to switch and it will work? Or do I need to do the nxsettongs for every set of joycons I have? Do the nynix controllers work only with nxsettings or does it need to be official joycons? Ty.

@@Joe-o7h1tIn jailbreaking, we use a method called EmuMMC to prevent any connection with Nintendo and therefore not risk a ban. Even if you do get banned, it only prevents access to Nintendo Online and the EShop, so you can still use physical media, preinstalled digital media and splitscreen multiplayer. That won’t happen, though.
Hey. I have, or rather had a similar issue to the previous comment. After installing android and going back to check on atmosphere, fusse read "A fatal error has occured when running ruse, Invalid GPT signature"
After hours of trying to redo stuff and backing up from my old sd card my switch is back normal.
But this is a neat thing I would like to have on my switch, so if you or anyone reading knows where I may have messed up, please let me know.

Touch screen works like a normal tablet. But imo its way better to have some type of controller to play emulators
It makes perfect sense cause the console itself looks like a tablet!

Are you dual booting?
Yes. This requires a partition of your SD Card in order to give each system (your accessible section, your jailbreaked switch section, Android’s section, and if you want to dive deep the Ubuntu Linux section) its own space.
Hi, thanks for the vid. Can someone confirm this tutorial works on hardmoded switch lite? I always get stuck on the 7:30 screen, after that black screen and switch goes off. I would like to know if the problem is on my end or switch lite is just not supported.

You'll have to open your Switch Lite and remove the internal joy-cons. Just remember the red wires go in first then the black ones. Good luck.

Not backing up your files is never going to prevent you being able to install anything. But if u choose not to, you could lose all your files if something goes wrong

It will appear as two or three partitions (four if you have Linux partitioned). Just close out of the “unreadable partition” tab and click the partition that’s accessible

I don’t think the switch is powerful enough to support Genshin since it’s very demanding. Even with Linux on the switch, it runs terribly because it’s just not optimised

No, think about it for a second. You can only get your Switch banned for downloading pirated software and changing your profile picture on your emuMMC while connected to wifi. That has nothing to do with Android, because Android is not the Switch’s OS, it’s running separately.
