Pay as you buy auctions were fairly common when I was young back in the 60's and 70's, especially farm auctions. You got a great buy on that Pyrex set, they don't look like they were even used. Thanks for sharing!
My wife and I found the three bowl set of the white Pyrex with the black dots, several years ago, in a barn sale. I think we paid $10.Not a chip or stain on them. Needless to say, we've never used them. They are in a glass- fronted kitchen cabinet. It makes me sad that we are scared to use them. Nice things should be used in order to appreciate them, not kept secured or packaged. I Enjoy your adventures......
It always tickles me that things that were massed produce expressly to be used to death in common life and then replaced or used and thrown away, got set aside and then gained rare, valuable, relic-like status. The only thing that changed was the passage of time. It just goes to show how valuable time and long-term storage can be! A common kitchen item that you are reticent to use (which I totally get!). The folks from that era would probably think us silly.
The pyrex is a great find. these sets that have Sold ( not listed ones) have sold between $225-$400 based on worthpoint. Rare pyrex colors sells in the thousands
Good morning to you Taco. This Friday has been a great day for you. Excellent find in the Pyrex bowl set. I hope that you and Salsa have a fantastic day.
Hi Taco! Love the Pyrex! I never saw a blue set before. You did good! I agree that auction lasted late. Sad the furniture went so cheap--youu up called it! Blessings always! ❤️✝️
Hi, I found exactly the same Pyrex bowls even the same colours on UK eBay because I live in London for £268.56 plus shipping from USA for £58.90 and it's all in pounds, imagine how much it's going to be in dollars, so you did remarkably well in this auction. I wish you all the best with it.
I'm not a big Pyrex person, but I love blue! That set is yum yum yummy. I've never seen that set before so I believe you about it being rare. I'm glad you had the knowledge about it so you could get the sweet deal. You always seem to be so non-greedy that I am wishing you the best of profits on the sale.
The doll you showed that you said looked creepy lol I believe is a Thumbelina doll and some can be worth a lot of money. You should check into that. I love vintage Pyrex! I liked that auction, looked like lots of cool stuff!
I had one to in the 60’s, one of favorite dolls. I saved her for years and back in the early2000’s, we had a flood in our basement and I had to throw her away😢
I had A set of those that was given to me and I got all new bowls and put them to the curb last year with some other household items never knew the worth of them. Someone might have got great stuff I wish I would of knew the value. Good video enjoyed your videos and hope you have a great day .
Is that the 1st day of the auction? If not, crazy to start it so late in the day on a week day. Love the Americana Pyrex set - great find! I've shipped glass vases and pottery well wrapped in Styrofoam ice chest and inside a sturdy box. Always get to their destinations intact.
Taco that is great, I hope you can get $500 for those bowls since it is in such good shape. Maybe one of the dolls you have there in the truck is worth a lot of money too, let us know if when you look up the value of it.
Check the doll out! That is a Thumbelina Maybe one of the older ones from the 60’s According to condition you may be able to get some good money for her-especially if she is wearing some original clothing
Taco stacks! Taco stacks! Taco stacks! For the win of the day!!! I appreciate you so much! Thanks for taking us along to this very different auction! It was a very great one to see! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Recently I found two of the orange 70's ones. Butterfly? Other than that, I've seen only costly ones at antique stores and really not much else. Night auction.
I found a unmarked Pyrex two bowl chip and dip set in a pattern that I later found out was called atomic eye. I almost didn't buy it because it had zero markings and thought it was not Pyrex. I Think remember it sold for about $500.00 on Ebay
Another RUclips page American " Crazy lamp lady " will be jealous of your bowls, She went to a antique shop, that had a different Pyrex bowls and some still in the boxes
Love that pyrex! The colors are amazing. But I would not pay that much money for three bowls. My murder would be in the papers or on line for sure. You did good and that auction was cool. I love ya.Stay safe and healthy.❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
You don't carry a small toolbox/tool kit in your van and Jeep? I don't even "drive for a living" like you do and I always have basic tools (including an adjustable wrench) --- I guess, as a female, I'm used to being out by myself and wanting to be prepared in case there's anything that comes up that I can handle!
No buyer's premium!?!?!?! It's been a long time since I've heard of such a thing.......Cash only, no google pay, paypal, venmo, apple pay......... mind is blown 😳 AND it seemed that everything was going cheap, WOW!

My vintage pink and aqua Pyrex is just for show! Too precious to cook with. I use clear Pyrex to cook and bake things.

Great find ! Love my vintage Pyrex !
I have never seen the Pyrex before. Keep them. Great deal on the toolbox. Keep that too😂
The “creepy Doll” is a 1960’s large Thumbelina doll. I’ll take it off your hands by paying the shipping 😁

I received Thumbelina for Christmas in the 1960’s. She was such a sweet doll but the hair turned into a mess just like this one.
Good memories 💜
Yes! My sister had one,I couldn't think of the name!
I had a Thumbelina in the 60s too! Mine had dark hair and, yes, it was a MESS!!!!
I wanted one in the 60's.

Good day Taco 1 thing I can say is welder went cheap & if it didn't work, scrap> Thanks
Just like a rare Pyrex bowl . It's a rare taco after dark video. 😛🤣😅
The doll you think is creepy looks like the Famous Thumbalina.
Dolls aren't creepy. They get old, but that doesn't make them creepy. Blessings and smoochies to Salsa! 💖✝
Recently I found two of the orange 70's ones. Butterfly? Other than that, I've seen only costly ones at antique stores and really not much else. Night auction.

Awesome find Taco . Let us know what it eventually sells for.
Thank you Taco for another great video👵❤ I look forward to seeing you and "hanging around with you" where ever you go
Great find, and good eye. Know I look for the designed patterns as those tend to be higher. Still for $20 bucks great score !
I used to have that Precious Moments figurine in a prayer garden.
The doll with the white top and red skirt looks like an Eloise Wilkin which bring good money.
Nice score on the pyrex! 👏👏
