i love seeing stuff like this, especially in high ranks. it gets boring seeing the same characters being played the same way
It is nice seeing character being played different from the norm, but I see holes is these types of styles.

@@KamiTurtle my thought is, brigs repair packs have a decent amount of range. She could potentially dive and support the team from afar; if she pays some attention to her team.

Brig flank is solid cause majority of the cast can’t stop her if they alone.

3:31 The Brig unbreakable shield bug that happened there. When Kiriko ults and shield breaks, the cooldown for the shield is back before the shield regenerates (it has 1 health), so when she uses it, it will have 1 health but can't be broken. Marblr has a good video on it!
Thankfully this was fixed
@@karameiwell yes but the fix was more of a workaround, they made it so brigs shield isn’t affected by Kiriko ult at all

The most interesting part for me is that the Brig might not have had much healing (7.4k over the 13 min match), but she had 38 assists (compared to ml7's 21). You can check the scoreboard at 07:11 to see all the stats for yourself.
Brig is an assist printer. Pretty sure teammates she’s healing can get assists for her.
it's probably because of her inspire passive; if she's doing damage near her team they'll be healed a bit (which results in their kills being counted as assists)
i might just be bad but i feel like 7.4k healing is pretty good

Interesting to think how strong this Brig playstyle could've been in OW1 when she still had the stun
This mainly relies on her bash being able to catch up with her boop. In ow1 she kept almost no momentum and didint travel very far, this playstyle would not work

@@user-gf6nj1lh6i As someone that never touched Brig since her release and watching the Brig OP times, I can say that Brig is totally fine right now. I would even say give her a small adjustment buff. Brig is not a scary enemy.

I play this style of brig (at a lower level) and it works very well in some games, and in others it feels like you're feeding
The way the Brig's name made me chuckle every time the focus is on her.
As a compulsive flanker I recognize way too much of myself in this Brig, I just take long silly flanks will long range heroes. But I admire the insanity of it

I recently started playing brig and she became my main very quickly because of how versatile she can be. To preface, I just hit gold after climbing from b5 and I very much understand that things that work down here won’t necessarily work in other ranks. Personally I usually am not quite this aggro I usually hang out with the tank pre fight using the boop to make sure their tank gets some extra steps in or to stop someone in their dive, as well as getting that beautiful inspire. Then during the middle of the fight I’m just swangin on whoever looks like they need some facial reconstruction and mashing e on cool down at whoever is low. But that flexibility is really what makes me love her, cause I’m able to switch up my play style minute to minute depending on my teams needs. Dps is struggling with picks, I go help them bully. Team is getting dove, get down mr. president. Tank is dead, wdym I’m still here. This very much inspired me though, to go scower every map for brig bash rollouts/tech. Great video as always ml7 ❤

I’ve seen a brig like this in qp last week… she was very effective and helped us get a W. I had to support the rest of the team though.

I'm surprised this is something you guys are just figuring out!! Here in low ranks (silver/gold, beloved) beating the loving life out of squishies as brig like an aggressive dog is a staple. Works amazing, that 50dmg bash buff doin NUMBERS.

3:33 it's an exploit, that makes Brig's shield infinite. Basically if her shield gets destroyed, it goes on cooldown and starts to regenerate, but cooldowns inside Kitsune Rush are x3, so the cooldown of shield is up before shield even starts to regenerate from the lowest value. Shield cannot go lower than the lowest value, thus you have infinite shield (as long as you don't let it regenarate).
Edit: I had written this before I saw rest of the video.
Time to get brigs that die on cooldown. I don't want to play with or against them LMAO. This was impressive mainly because this Brig clearly has a very good understanding of her kit and pathing. She still feeds a bit, but nowhere near as much as I'd expect. Anyway, just remember that if you're doing this on brig, survival is key... and most of your co-supports aren't ML7.
Anyway I love this video and style with the replay and everything. This was just a fun video lol, I didn't know that crazy shield bash to high ground still worked.
When a Support plays Support and not Healer... so good. If OW had a HEALER role, okay sure, but the role says SUPPORT. Im convinced like a lot of people just forget to read.

i mean a LHCloudy type brig might actually work better than her being a worse version of lucio.
now I wont say flanking with Brig is often a good idea, but she's hardly meant to stay on your backline. she's a frontline support. she isnt going to replace your tank, but she's the closest you're going to get to an off tank without an actual second tank. she's also great at sticking with and protecting 1 teammate at a time, which does make her a good bodyguard, but that doesnt mean you have to be *close to them* you can protect teammates from far ahead. as a Brig player, I personally substitute a tank job on a fairly regular basis, whether it be because my tank died or because my tank over extended or isnt pushing at all, Brig is good for substituting a tank just that little bit extra for when your team really needs it
unfortunately she's a little weak right now, and honestly a big part of why is bevause her off tanking kit is in a weak state right now. as much as the stun needed to go, it was an important part of her kit, and no amount of damage cooldown range or anything else can make up for that. hopefully they'll buff it with some knockback, give her back some more crowd control
I'm nowhere near good at the game, but I kind of try a hybrid of this and hanging back when I can to heal. Its definitely way more fun when you can dive people like this. I now want to practice some of these jumps after watching 🤣

Yesterday I found a similar brig, she was on the front line always asking for heals from the other support(lucio) and complaining in chat that she didn't receive enough and to change support so as to heal her more. She also complained that the dps didn't do enough damage and she had more damage mitigated than the tank. The dps and tank were pretty much always out of heals. Of course we lost
this is a completely different brig, she doesn't run into the team aimlessly and get puinished by t500 players, the amount of space she made is way more than simply pushing the front line

@@RylHango Also, he could've changed Lucio, not because the brig asked, but because lucio/brig have low heals, it's even worse if one of them is flanking and the team don't know how to play passive to take less damage.

9:49 is probably the craziest part of all this
I found success with Brig by being a lowkey frontline tank that can take most 1vs3 situations. Once I see a kill or 2 in the feed, I send it or flank. It works like.... 90% of the time, and pays off huge, with potg, carrying, most damage, healing, and mitigation all at once. Probably a stupid idea, but I just personally found success in it.
I didn't realize Kiriko's healing Ofuda can still be controlled after it leaves your hand.
If your cursor was over an ally, the ofuda will change trajectory to follow that ally.
Brig just believes in your healing that much

brig was always a not healer, her health packs are slow to regen so are rarely available, she has to do damage to heal and shes got a massive range for it too. so brig is a dps support basically, that said most brigs tend to stay close to team to quickly help if needed, but this works too
