He's a bit high execution and has a lot of tools. His back turn especially is pretty strong, but most people find it difficult to utilize since you can't block and stances are tricky for a lot of people.
I hate fighting Xiaoyou's. Because unless they make a mistake, it's never your turn. You start searching for openings that may or may not be there. And you have to rely on frame data to beat her out to get a counter hit, so you can apply pressure. Because you can only do so many mixup and strings before you run out of options. Unless you try sine risky gimmicky shit to try and throw her off. Then you get fucked because you went into unsafe territory trying to create an opening. Otherwise you're on defense, where you get mentally worn down. And unlike other characters, xiaoyou will get to you. Very frustrating.😅

Damage also balances out when you use it in a combo, you don’t get the full damage of his hellfire
