- Marcel Siem claims his SXITH Tour win as he beats Tom McKibbin in a play-off at the Italian Open.

After a three-year stay at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, the DP World Tour makes its way to Adriatic Golf Club which will host the Italian Open presented by Regione Emilia-Romagna for the first time. Tom McKibbin will be in the field this week. He made the cut at his first Major Championship in the U.S Open three weeks ago and went onto claim his fifth top ten of year - and third in his last five starts - at the KLM Open last week. He currently sits 20th in the Race to Dubai Rankings. Guido Migliozzi will also be in the field after his win in the Netherlands last week. It seemed to be coming as the Italian enjoyed a strong run of form finishing runner-up at the Volvo China Open, followed by a 24T at the Soudal Open and a tie for 8th at the European Open three weeks ago before his victory. Danny Willett will also be in Italy this week. The Previous Masters champion and eight-time winner on the DP World Tour is on the comeback trail after his shoulder injury and played well for a T29 finish last week at the KLM Open. Others to look out for include Sebastian Söderberg, Laurie Canter and Patrick Reed.

yea the pga tour is incredibly boring but u can blame liv for buying out basically a majority of the top 50 players🤷🏽♂️. I pretty much only watch DP and LIV unless its a major.
When you put the winner in the thumbnail, it gives me little reason to watch the video. I'm here to watch the story of the day unfold, but you've taken that off the table for me on the homepage already. Make the thumbnail the leader at the start of the day, or the main contenders.
I still think the how matters
@@Ferengi23 Absolutely. It just serves no purpose to spoil the ending. Except in the case of crazy upsets, I am not more motivated to watch the video because I see the winner in advance. In the vast majority of cases, I am seeking out highlights because I am interested in the event and want to enjoy a mini version of it. I can get a result instantly from any text-based site.

It's great to see Marcel back and apparently healthy and fit. His love for, and enjoyment of the game, comes across in how he plays, and makes him fun to watch. Congrats also to TM for an excellent final round to give himeslef a chance.

You're gaining little to no advantage using a broomhandle putter.
There are official rules and using long putters is allowed as long as the description in the rules are full filled. If such a putter brings advantage, then every other would use them. But they don't. Using such a puttering "cheating" is stupid and nonsense
