  • Final walk around for Pauline, our 25th Anniversary Mk4 is complete. We walk around the car and point out all of the things we've done to this car to make it an award winning Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster. All those custom touches that set this one apart from the rest.

That's a KRC issue. We've bled the system 4 times in the manner they have suggested and it's still loud. If it were up to me we would never use their pump ever again. Look at the previous video where they sent the wrong tank pre-installed to the pump. Complete garbage. Go to the 14 minute mark of this video. ruclips.net/video/_dQrhZlO0X0/видео.html

Good job, awesome setup, love the car, um...power steering pump doesn't sound happy...🤔

Thanks. PS pump is not something we would recommend. We had nothing but problems with it. The noise was the least of it. Wish there were better options.

@@i.e.427garage9 i hear most people are going with old fashioned "armstrong" steering on the cobra replicas.
was wondering if you may have heard of any or had experience with electric power steering?
i don't know much about it or how it works but I've been hearing more and more about it and hot rod guys starting to use it on they're project cars that have those fat front tires to aid in maneuvering in parking lots and tight spaces at car shows etc.

@@libertywarrior7440 I think you may have misunderstood. We love power-steering on these cars. What I would not recommend is a pump from KRC since all the trouble we had with this one. Power vs. non-power steering is about 50% in our shop. I would not own a car without power-steering. As far as electric assist, there is currently no kit available for the Factory Five Mk4 or the Type 65 coupe. So either of those would have to be cobbled together from universal kits. Dollar for dollar the hydraulic power-steering is still the way to go. A kit for the Factory Five 33 Hot Rod and the 35 Hot Rod Pickup is available from Factory Five.

@@i.e.427garage9 great info, thanks a lot I'll keep that in mind while I'm working on my hoopties. I was going to say, I retrofitted an early 90s GM pump from a Silverado pickup with a homemade bracket on my uncles rat rod Fox body once and it seemed to work pretty good, had to build custom hoses to make it work but it didn't make any noise and it ran pretty smoothly last I heard oh, that was about 18 years ago..
Anyways, keep up the good work, love the work you're doing so far. You make some really bad ass and beautiful stuff❤️😉👍

Do you have the color name or code for the grey paint?

I don't remember the paint color. If I talk to Miller in the next few days I'll ask him. The owner of the car should know. He may go through the comment and see your question.
