can't elaborate further even The Knight Wanted to. I beleive "No Mouth to Cry Suffering" applies to all vessles and no mouth to cry suffering also means no mouth to elaborate further.
Of course, the Knight is able to consume things. Seems to do that but touching things with their hands tho.

The fact that the berries are an orange-ish colour kind of fits with the plot of the game, but opens a lot of plot holes in the process.

Finally, I've been waiting for the new hungry knight update for years now, the game is so much bigger than it used to be
Headcanon: once you seal the plague, it becomes your source of food. Not only do you seal it, you slowly weaken it over time by absorbing its energy. Hence, the Hungry Knight is superior to the normal Knight because it doesn't just seal the plague, it defeats the Radiance entirely without even having to do its void thing.

Pretty good RNG with the Dreamer locations - all of them were exactly where Skurry expected them to be. I guess the luck from that Low% run hasn't fully run out.
Didn't even bother checking the Grub or Dream Nail rewards, and still managed to find all the items he needed.

@@TimeturnerJ considering it takes only a couple berries to fill the meter, I'd say the loss is not worth the gain.

This mod creates interesting lore implications that actually make sense.
Void Vessels, as in vanilla game, never needed to eat because they aren't truly alive. The Pale King was so powerful because he basically didn't need to eat either - Kingsoul preserved his body.
i haven't eaten anything all day so i really feel immersed in the hungry knight experience

Hungry Knight 2.0: the hunger meter is based on the number of Geo/Berries, and Geo/Berries decreases over time.
Skurry not using gathering swarm for this is a power move
I'd be curious to see someone get the true ending in this. or better yet one of the godhome endings
God home in itself would be fine since bosses drop geo over the fight in the mod. However pantheon 5 requires voidheart and there is no geo in the white Palace which you have to go through for kingsoul and then void heart. Also getting voidheart could be bad since the only abyss enemies that drop geo are the shadow creepers.

Ah you see, benches have gum stuck to the bottom, and in an emergency you can eat it.
This mod adds so much depth to Hollow Knight. You really feel the weight of the infection on your shoulders. As the time limit for your hunger goes down, you can feel the pressing time limit of a kingdom that, while on the outside may insist its in stasis, is actually rapidly falling rapidly to the Radiance. Masterful work Bismuth and Skurry.

I'm curious, because Geo is more plentiful and gives soul, would this be easier or harder to speedrun than vanilla Hollow Knight?
Bosses now give you tons of soul during fights, but it slowly drains and you take damage if you have none
-There's probably an obvious answer tho and I'm just stupid lol-
While the boss fights would be faster I think the run would ve overall slower because you have to constantly pick up geo on the way to bosses.
In my opinion, having hunger should regen health... like a permanent hiveblood effect, that regens until you get full

This is a pretty interesting mod. It increases both the skill cap and the difficulty allowing a skilled player to beat bosses faster than usual but making it hard to survive.

The way bosses drop berries reminds me a lot of King of Cards, where enemies (most notably bosses) drop hearts after being hit a bunch. There's a similar sense of having to balance attacking the boss and then scrambling to pick up an item.
