I have just completed the Inner Engineering course last week and am busy doing Shambavi twice a day. I come from a very toxic life , childhood and generational trauma. You have to be called to this (by the Divine, in my case) for it to impact you the way Sadhguru wishes.
It is definitely transformational. I have done 0 yoga before this! so it is a challenge, I won't lie, but I have been releasing toxic sludge since starting and for the first time, I was actually able to let go, when meditating, after Step 1- this happened!
I kept repeating what Sadhguru advised 'I am not the body nor am I the mind'.
The talks that he gives, interspersed with learning the Kriya, are just as transformative as the Practice. The way that he presented the argument about: Are you the body, where are you etc, blew me away.
Ironically it was the logic of the discourse that he presents, that gave me a very immediate and clear , almost remembrance, that of course I am not the body nor the mind, it was so obvious because of his talk, and I will always really appreciate him for this.
I absolutely adore Sadhguru, he is such a cool Guru, very relatable, I think this is vital, if you cannot connect with the Guru you will not learn anything from them.
I know he is with me when I practice everyday, as he said 'I am with you in more ways than you know- this still makes me cry, you can feel his love and dedication to helping us all grow and blossom into the beautiful Lotus flowers that we all are. xxx

i did IE in november. im only praying every day to keep doing it because it made a miracle for me !! it is first thing in my life something works like that.

🙏🏻Who forces anything to be not forced? I have nothing to say or feel about what others do about their experience w me? I'm not smart enough to be clever and use candy to obtuse someone to a place that isn't some peak experience. But larger. 0:02 I leave that for tyrollean traverse. Maybe the ones who are looking are not yet ready for ecstasy? If one brings them to the threshold and helps them across, they are missing the opportunity of finding it on their own. Knowing nothing I can only guess.
It is a tool, you will still still have to cross by yourself. Otherwise you miss the point. I did not experience ecstasy, not yet anyway, in many ways it is far more subtle than that. You have to experience everything for yourself, he just gives you a tool to help you get there. x

I'm trying to work my way out of addiction guys... I feel like I'm being called to this but, trying to be honest as possible, i don't know if I'm lazy or what... I can't bring myself to do the inner engineering. I don't know if I'm lazy or just afraid to do it while I'm still under the influence of medications that the doctor has me taking. I guess I'm afraid because where I am still taking meds, I live ONLY 4 HOURS FROM Sadhguru's ashram right here in Tennessee and I thought about driving over there just to ask the questions that are burning inside me that have to do with taking meds and getting the most out of what he has to offer. If anyone reads all of this and has a suggestion please let me know.

Take your time with ongoing de addiction therapy it..1-2 week- a month may be...till your treatment course or when u yourself feel okay n healthy enough..
Meanwhile in 1-2week- month u can practice isha kriya...n u can go to isha yoga centre n talk to swami there may be...n just stay in the energy of centre for some time..like u may volunteer or attend devi arti..
After u feel "ready "...just go n do inner engineering n practice shambhavi daily with discipline...without expecting any miracle..
M sure over some time u will definitely feel yourself in a better place internally..

Don't waste ur time thinking. Just register and do it. Even if u don't see noticable changes, keep on doing it. For some people it takes time to see changes because of blockages and past karmas. Once all the negative karmas and blockages r gone u will realise how beautiful everything is.
Joshua, the easier thing would be to email them, but visiting the ashram is great in its own right. In my experience with Isha, if you register for any program, there is a medical questioner in the application, so you can list any ailments or medication there. And if there is any conflict, the volunteers will get back to you. General Isha rule of the programs I had been on was ‘continue taking prescribed medication’. Also I have heard Sadhguru say several times that the practice you learn on Inner Engineering is designed to be absolutely safe.
And as a side note, after you do Inner Engineering you become part of a worldwide community which has monthly get-togethers in person or online, which I find to be a great support.

Anyone who has completed the Inner Engineering Program and is initiated in Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya can join the Isha Foundation as a volunteer. They will assign you some activity as per your capability. You can apply for long term volunteering if you wish to stay there for a couple of months.
Yes. After you complete Inner Engineering and get Initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya You can apply to stay there as a full time volunteer or you can join the Sadhanapada program for 7 months which is completely free of cost. 🙏

I got initiated, did this twice a day for 9 months. I had no noticeable changes and I stopped. No ecstasy, no burst of tears, nothing. It was only a false propaganda for me. 😊
It's because u didn't believe. Even if nothing happens, u must do it regularly. U might hav too many blockages and too many karmas. It takes time to burn those karmas.
@@PracheeKorday What believe? He only says no need to believe anything, just do it and it will work. He advertises as if tears of ecstasy flow during initiation. It's all lies. He should use karma as a disclaimer then.
@@Panda-gw8ot I am saying from experience. I didn't have tears during initiation. But I felt difference my energies. My body started trembling. Later on after many months one fine day tears started flowing automatically. I didn't cry or anything. It just started to flow. It's that kind of experience that I cannot explain in words. I don't know how to explain. But I would just suggest that U keep on doing.

All other things might be subtle and not in our grasp but physical body never lies. If it hurts, it'll let you know it hurts 😂
If he found something beyond money, then why he went after money by selling his finding.
he is saying he found something that made him feel joyous, ecstatic and out of the world. So, he thought now let's sell this thing as a course and earn some money so that he can enjoy material wellbeing. This logic is beyond my comprehension.
If even some of the people who are paying their hard earned money for it do not take it seriously enough, think of how much energy and money would be wasted if it's given away for free. There are people who have benefitted from this course who are willing to pay for yours if you agree to commit to it.
Also anyone affluent enough would say Material wealth becomes irrelevant after a while. There are only so many sports cars you can buy and any of his billionaire followers would gladly gift him anything he wants so I don't know what made you think he wants to make himself richer.
If he was after the money, the price would go up or at least stay the same. Inner Engineering now can be done in the app and the current price is three-four times less than what it was when I did it a couple of years ago.
Also I heard him say that the teaching is FREE, and initially he did teach for free but then he realised that to be effective the money was needed for the infrastructure.
How many gurus exist in obscurity, Teaching the lucky few who stumble upon them?
This man managed to reach millions and to profoundly change the lives of thousands. He created and sustains numerous domestic charitable project, as well as a global environmental movement.
And to echo what Nomad1104 said. Isha’s most advanced program is offered for FREE, simply because by that point people have proven their dedication and don’t need an incentive of financial investment. He can have my money any day.

It works wonderfully if you use it properly...you are expecting something..that is the problem...do it as a regular kriya and believe sadguru...you can feel shivas presence...try to concentrate your breath after bandas...limit it to atleast 3 in a minit...you become absolutely still...magic will happen❤❤
