I planted some sedums in the fall when I was planting them they kept falling apart as branches and leaves fall but by spring they were producing buetiful wight flowers and by late summer and flowers had seeds so I dead headed them and sprinkle the seeds everywhere not really thinking much and then it was nearly spring and now there are baby succulents everywhere and they look like there parent it's soooo cool.
Omg best video I've watched about succulents👌. Grateful for your clear and well spoken knowledge. I am just learning about these beautiful things, now obsessed with 😅. Stay Awesome!
Thank you for bringing that up. Yes, Angelina is great!

I'm on your site and I want every last plant that you offer. My only suggestion when it comes to your videos... please have the person zoom in or use an additional camera when you pick up the plants to show them. Trying to remember which plant you noted and then go back to the site to find it is not an easy thing. Now I will go back to your site and try not to give you all the money I received this week.
Hi! Glad you're a fan! Yes, we've since fixed the issue of seeing plants closer in the videos. You can check out our sedum ruclips.net/video/b6gzJqrrVIw/видео.html and sempervivum videos ruclips.net/video/vB02RPAKtJ4/видео.html if you want to see some of them closer-up.
Yeah, our nursery is in a mountainous area too and we got our start with hardy succulents back in the 90's! It makes us happy that people across the country are able to enjoy them.
Hi Cassidy. Which of the sempervivums has the largest rosettes? I want to make a large shallow pot of semps. Also, if you don’t mind, I’d like to know the ones with the smallest rosettes also. Thank you! :) ❤️❤️❤️
Hello! You can find all of our largest Sempervivum at the following link. They reach 8"+ at maturity! mountaincrestgardens.com/sempervivum-hens-chicks/?_bc_fsnf=1&Maximum+Rosette+Size=Over+8%22
I just received my hardy succulents from Mountain Crest Garden transplanting them now but one plant was rotten upon arrival. I wonder if they survive in the tropics. Arnida Coons-Guam
They can, you just need to make sure they are in well-draining soil. I would also keep them out of direct sun in warmer climates. Sempervivum Heuffelii are the ones that are the most resilient in heat and places with higher rainfall. If you want to talk to our customer service about getting a replacement for the one that arrived rotten, email info@mountaincrestgardens.com or call 1-877-656-4035 7am-4pm PT
We link to our top 5 succulent types for humid climates at the following link. Do note though, none of them tolerate hard frosts, so you will need to cover them in winter or bring them inside to a sunny sill. mountaincrestgardens.com/faqs-help/?faq_page=/en-US/best-succulent-varieties-for-wet-or-humid-conditions-43575
i know i'm coming in late but i can't see the plants from where the camera man is standing. every now and then you might have shown a close up but it just seems there should have been close ups through the whole video
Thanks for your feedback Sharon, we've rectafied that with other videos. You can check out our Sempervivum... ruclips.net/video/vB02RPAKtJ4/видео.html ...and Sedum videos ... ruclips.net/video/b6gzJqrrVIw/видео.html ... if you want more details about Hardy Succulents.
I was looking for bigger (>4 inches tall, >4 inches diameter) hardy succulents, that I can put on my marble bed outdoor. I killed a bunch here in Gainesville, FL, I thought they were hardy. What about the ones of the right of the table? They look big! What are they? Are they hardy?
Yes, every plant featured in this video is hardy. Looks like the grow zone in Gainsville, FL is 9a. So we do have a bunch of succulents that grow in that zone or colder. I also filtered for larger plants so here is the link to plants that we currently have in stock (we will have more ready in the next couple weeks) will get 4" or greater and will work for your zone. mountaincrestgardens.com/hardy-succulents/?_bc_fsnf=1&Cold+Hardiness%5B%5D=Zone+7+%280F%29&Cold+Hardiness%5B%5D=Zone+6+%28-10F%29&Cold+Hardiness%5B%5D=Zone+5+%28-20F%29&Cold+Hardiness%5B%5D=Zone+4+%28-30F%29&Maximum+Height%5B%5D=6%22-8%22&Maximum+Height%5B%5D=3%22-5%22&Maximum+Height%5B%5D=9%22-12%22
So beautiful, I hope someone could give me succulents because here in our place succulents were too expensive and only few were selling. And I can't also afford online, Im still a student and Im not rich. I really want to collect succulents cause I feel at peace when im around with them.
Hi Jessa! Glad you like succulents! They really are soothing plants. Unfortunately, we don't donate plants, but we do have sales that come up pretty often. If you want to learn about them you can subscribe to our newsletter. Just scroll to the bottom of our website mountaincrestgardens.com/
As a lawn?? Omg I would b so afraid for them....they are just such nice eye candy. My brain is jumping like a jolt of b12.if I ever get brave I am going to tattoo sedums all over my legs....
Sedum are really sturdy! You wouldn't want to play soccer on them like a lawn, but especially the low-growing ones can recover pretty quickly once stepped on. mountaincrestgardens.com/sedum-album-chloroticum-baby-tears/
I finally got my first Mountain Crest order and it didn't disappoint. I did an unboxing and love all my plants. You can see the beautiful specimens here: ruclips.net/video/GLw0QP-G7D4/видео.html

Good information. Suggest better visual presentation of each plant. Too hard to relate name with plants because we can't see what you are showing.
Do they grow from the leaves on the flower stalks
Sempervivum do not, but Sedum could!
This was a great video in Georgia we do have cool weather here in the mountains.

Can you grow hardy succulents indoor with a decent amount but not strong sunlight (facing a courtyard)?
Is Rosularia platyphylla the only plant available in online stores? If so why can’t we buy or find other varieties?
You can find all of our frost hardy succulents available online here: mountaincrestgardens.com/hardy-succulents/
