I will say that I don’t mind how RUclips is today, it’s been really cool to see it evolve and change over the last 14 years. But I have myself tried being a RUclipsr, started back in 2015, and having given that a shot and quite deciding to quit on that dream about 4 years later in 2019, I myself miss the expected standards for RUclips videos from 2010. Cause today, if you want to be noticed or have a really good chance at success, you almost have to go all out make videos comparable to other RUclipsrs who’s been doing this a lot longer then you have and have more experience then you, otherwise you just disappear in the flood of 100’s of thousands of RUclips videos that gets upload everyday. Like to give a good example of your channel here, I would not have found unless you made your very in-depth and high quality Call of Duty Retrospective videos, cause they really caught my eye on my RUclips feed and I was happy to see someone had actually made retrospective videos on the Call of Duty games’ campaign’s. But yeah, that’s about all I have to say about this, I hope to see more retrospective videos from you eventually, take your time with them, cause I bet they take a very long time to make.
RUclips is a mixed bag. You'll both hate and love it. It's riddled with problems that have existed for years, and have not been fixed to this day like the Copyright Abuses. And Problem's that now plague RUclips like censorship. RUclips gives us great things like RUclips Shorts, but then makes us hate them by deleting the Dislikes. All in all, the only reason why RUclips is still kicking despite some very unpopular changes and decisions, is that RUclips has lots of Content. I'd love to switch to Odysee cuz of the dislikes being available, but without content it's not a good Competitor.
Yeah, unfortunately RUclips doesn't have any real competition in the video sharing space which basically gives them free reign to do whatever they please. Plus, with so many people making their livelihoods here, it'd be difficult to get them to move elsewhere. I do agree it's a mixed bag though. Great in some ways, horrible in others :s

They do take a long time to make, but I'll keep chugging along :)
