      Ah, it makes so so happy to read comments like this - it's a pretty lonely journey sometimes, being a martial woman, and even more so when pregnant. I'm glad my video is helpful on your journey! Congratulations, and wishing you a safe and special birth when the time comes ❤️

    A rare and unique type of video,
    If it helps just one mom while pregnant it’s a success, if it makes an instructor rethink the status quo and make a better decision , or to further question and look at an ever increasing field of modern knowledge. Then we have success
    Both pregnancies have come with lots of individual quirks, including the deliveries and the labour.
    Proud to see this contribution on our channel and all that Zoe has gone through. ❤

      i have read about work related stress, which is different from depression but it can be similuar in the way it manifests in the body, the idea was the more stressed you body is the more you think your self is the reason for the stress. Self dought, guildt can be indicators of this.

    Ive been told by my GP to give it up because this is our first baby. I'm shattered :(

    • @GojuRyuKarateCentre
      @GojuRyuKarateCentre  10 месяцев назад +1

      Oh no! That's so hard to hear :( I know I would have been devastated too.
      If it is an option, it would be best to hear from an OB-GYN and get their insight, as pregnancy is their speciality.
      Most civilians have no idea what karate is about, they think it is just kicking and punching each other as hard as we can all the time, and that might be influencing their opinion.
      Again, *I am not a medical professional* and I don't know if you have a high-risk pregnancy and need to take it as easy as possible. But doing a kata like Tensho slowly and consistently really helped me stay strong and involved in my training. The harder part was finding time to train after baby was born!
      Please don't hesitate to drop me an email at dojo@grkc1978.com and share your story with me. I hope we can talk some more and find a way through.
      You are in my thoughts, one momma to another.
      xxx
