I want to eat it 🤩
Give it a try!!!
I was always told squid ink has a strong flavor to it. Does adding the ink change the flavor profile and if so, can you describe?
Does it taste like squid too?
No it doesn’t. The ink has a briny taste, so it only add a bit of saltiness to the bread.
I wonder how it would turn out, if you used charcoal?
You can also make them with charcoal instead of the squid ink. 👍👍
Thank you so much for the recipe! Can i use black food coloring for the bun?
It should work, just keep the base recipe the same and use the food coloring instead of the squid ink. Also the squid ink is salty on its own, so when using food coloring increase from 1/2 teaspoon of salt to 1 teaspoon.
@@HomeChefSeattle thank you!!
@@yelenayasay6605 You are welcome!
Is this japonese burguer taste like fish? I was asking because of the a squid ink. Thanks
I wouldn’t say “fishy”, the squid ink adds saltiness to the bread but it does not make it taste fishy.
Hi. Thats a lot. Delicus eat.
Very tasty! Thanks!
Chef: A request. I always thought I hated mushrooms until I was dared by a friend to try some in a restaurant in the 1980s. It was wonderful. I have no idea how they were cooked. They were in a sauce; it was very dark. My grandson just said he hated mushrooms. I was wondering if you have any idea how mushrooms could be cooked so that mushroom haters love them.
They were probably in a heavy cream, butter sauce..
I want to try it ,but i'm allergic to squid. Can you please share with me another brioche recipe using activated charcoal powder.Thanks.
You can follow the exact same recipe for the base just replacing the squid ink with the charcoal. I wouldn't know the exact amount to tell you, I would just start with little bi little until you obtain a dark enough dough.
I always try to make color burger bun but its end up become little roasted on top of bun.
Can i half this recipe to make 5?
Yes, you can cut the recipe in half.
Recipe failed with me. Would've helped if everything was in grams
