@@ordernow12345 watched someone use a shield and a stim and now.. its impossible you just need to go up and down with the floor and put some pistons. Thats it you can’t beat this alone
Definetly can be countered using grapple hook OR just shield. You could also just place a revive gadget once you pick up the genmat. good idea to add into a base however!!
Shield and stim can't cheese every single base, long pathways filled with pressure from all sides + armored guards to bodyblock ppl counters everything a raider can do except magnetic shield but you only get 2 of those.
I prefer making a moderate challenge base that has Second Wave holo blocks to radically alter the base the 2nd go, I don't care about making it impossible, I want to get like 4-5 kills a player, if its impossible and they sense that, you get 1.
It's not just about making an impossible base. It's about making an impossible base that the player thinks they can beat. If you create an instant path of death a lot of players will just rage quit and you will only get 1 or 2 kills. You need to add steps of increase difficulty where they will respawn and get a little further each time. On second wave make it impossible for them to escape (and run Overdrive). The point is to acquire as many kills as you can from a player in a run. Or at least for me. But this trap mechanic can be deadly mixed with some other mechanics. Thanks for the video.
Imo, the idea rests in a base not being impossible to complete, but rather being impossible to escape the ‘Time-flow’ of a combined series of traps and guards within every encounter. In perhaps other words, static combos. I think that will be the future of this game; tastefully forcing a Raider’s persistence in aggro.
To make the build design more tedious for a solo, my advice would be to: 1 make it longer. 2 add incinerators with the dragon's breath mod and pistons with the red hot mod.
Can you do a tutorial on changing the Dogs path AFTER getting the genmat? I’ve seen many bases where they change the floor into the corrosive cube even though it’s in the Dogs path
Yea you cant change the robots path, its automatically assigned when you start building your base. You sure the hallways not 2 wide forcing the robot to go around the lava??
I haven't done it myself but I think it involves 2nd wave holocube as the initial pathway and then it reverts to an alternate pathway once the genmat is picked up.
Everytime I see "impossible base" type content, I just feel sad because it really shows how inexperienced players think about the game. This type of design was around during open beta 3 months ago, it is very far from impossible and it's very obvious what the trap is to anyone who has played for more than 1 week. I'm not trying to attack the creator, but this line of thought is similar to the "I must be the first one to come up with a base that has acid on the floor that has a secret entrance after the player grabs the genmat". It's all been done.
Just don't get the appeal of "impossible" bases, challenging sure, but impossible bases are just going to kill the game. Their like a cancer that will just make people stop playing and the game will die if it becomes the norm. They really need to take a note from mario maker on this and just require that it be completed by the builder before it can go active.
I have had issues where players are speed running and using shields to block the explosions. To combat this I made tall tower the is out of reach once you delete the lower blocks and I have a gunner jump off so I basically have secondary detonations that a shield won’t be ready to block. Only setup that could survive is if they have the hand shield and the deployable which I have seen once yet.
So basically a low-effort cheese base devoid of creativity and easily countered with a shield and stim.
Don’t even need the stim. Literally you can just grab the genmat and wait. Shield. And then leave. Smh these builds
Funny how you see a bunch of bad reviews on the game because of this *impossible escape base* that is actually the easiest base to beat.

Just search Kidipouk and come try mine if you say you can do it :D
@@ordiinarybeats4172the pistons cant touch the block with the genmat. So wait, use the shield, and shoot down all the pistons.

personal shield beats that in 1 attempt
Easily counterable with the shield weapon, consumable and revive.
Shield works, revive breaks on Genmat pickup
@@DeejGaming That's why you immediately throw it after picking up the Genmat.

ive seen this design so much but when you grab the genmat just stand still and the entire trap is countered
What if you shield the guard explosion?
i beat one of these before. they even put spikes on the floor. but all you gotta do is pull back as soon as the bodies fall. gg tho

Easy to counter 😂
Ya corrosive cube needs to get nerfed if they want to keep this game healthy
Arc barrier

And he block it with a chield and get all of the genmat
Shield counters this instantly.
You just have to wait next the matgen for 30 sec and it's the easiest base bro

How do you have the bolts fire from behind the lava blocks
They can't be activated through them so u have to try and angle them right

Cannot wsit until shield gets nerfed. It makes the game too easy

one phoenix barrier beats this btw (did one of these bases in two attempts yesterday)
With a casual spam of guards your gonna get more kills but two or 3 cells of this would make a good addition
Thats why a flat floor and nothing like pistons to block its to easy
It's not impossible...
Such a boring build, I’ve encountered a few and found no fun running something like this so I just block any I encounter from now on
so bad
