Why do Regina folks have to constantly defend their city?

Regina: it’s not the hole you think it is.
We've all heard the jokes about Regina. Whether it's celebrities from other countries who get a kick out of the word or folks in other parts of Canada who have never visited and never plan to.
So when a woman who grew up in Regina and now lives in Calgary --
wrote a point of view piece for CBC Saskatchewan about how annoying it is for her to constantly have to hear what a "hole" Regina is -- we thought it was worth talking about.
We speak with some high profile Regina folks who will tell us why they chose to live and work in the Queen City.
And we'll dig into Regina's self-esteem and identity issues.
