    Hi Arun, thank you for this excellent and easily understandable video. I am a beginner in SAP. So I have a few questions to learn from you. Could you please help?
    1. There is always talks about customization of SAP modules. Is customization to suit business needs possible in BTP as well? How easy or difficult it is?
    2. Can a smaller organization use SAP BTP itself as the only ERP component instead of SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA?

    • @erpiseasy
      @erpiseasy  2 года назад +1

      Hi Ganesh, Thank you for your kind words.
      Regarding your questions,
      1. Customisations can be developed using BTPs Extension Suite. You can use different type of programming languages like Python, JAVA, ABAP to create those customised applications and use BTPs integration suite to integrate those custom codes with SAP applications
      2. BTP can be used by any organisation irrespective of their size. It comes to why do you want to use BTP and will it satisfy your business requirements.
      Hope this helps and all the best.

    excellent info , need to know when we use BTP integration suite do we still need sap PO ? need to know the exact use

    • @erpiseasy
      @erpiseasy  2 года назад

      Hi, Thank you. What you want to use for your integration purpose will depend on your requirement. It depends on how much integration you have got and is it on-premise heavy, are they connected to non-SAP applications, how much custom codes have you invested and for how long, etc.
      From a functional perspective, the following blog explains the difference. www.integration-excellence.com/sap-middleware-comparison-cpi-vs-po/#:~:text=PO%3A%20Very%20standardized%20approach%20of,%2C%20transformation%2C%20security%20elements).

    Sap btp is technical or support ?

  • @quachhengtony7651
    @quachhengtony7651 2 года назад +1

    So, in essence, SAP BTP is AWS but specifically for enterprise softwares

    • @erpiseasy
      @erpiseasy  2 года назад

      Hi, yes and no. While some functionalities are offered both by AWS and BTP, AWS is Infrastructure as a Service, while BTP is Platform as a Service. You can host VM’s on BTP but it’s primary intention is to offer SAP customers a platform to integrate and develop extension for their SAP applications.

    What are hyperscalers?

    • @erpiseasy
      @erpiseasy  2 года назад +2

      The official definition is “hyperscale is the ability of an architecture to scale appropriately as increased demand is added to the system”. Infrastructure as a service providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, etc has the capability to scale as per the demand. So they are usually referred as the hyperscalers.

    • @erpiseasy

      Hi Akash, coding knowledge is not required to learn BTP. You can code using BTP but that’s just one functionality of it. BTP can be used for lot of other purposes which you can learn. Good luck

      Ahh.. This seems to be long discussion.. I think we would need to connect separately.. not something I could explain you in chat.. but currently I see there are a lot of opportunities, though the sap is not the same as before and is facing compitition from other players.. these modules you mentioned are quite generic and is used in many companies. Packages in us I am not aware of, but you can check websites with openings should find there. These are not difficult modules, you would find ample resources online and should be able to pickup from there.
