I used it to mask faded motorcycle paint on top of tank. It bubbled and ran from unseen contaminants I'm guessing. After scratching head for a few days and researching WD 40 ( messy long soak time) and acetone ( very risky to paint) I just went at it with fingertips. Rolled it right off into a rubber band shape 10 minutes peice of cake. Big job ? Its all you..holes cracks spokes ? Same. I also think put it on thick somehow.
I found that gasoline will cause it to turn to goo and bubble. It was back in 2017 when I used the product, but to this day I can still see the dull areas of paint on the door in the sunlight.
Urethane paint and the vinyl spray paint have very similar chemistry, the solvent in the custom wrap dissolved the top layer of the urethane paint causing the gloss loss.
Man that sucks. Hopefully you find a way to get the shine back. Have to say though I would paint the truck how you had it looked great and I was a hug fan of the off road racing games back in the day. Great video!
It did look great with the 35" tires, but the paint job was a little much on 33x10.5" all terrains. If gas milage and towing weren't so bad with the 35's, I'd keep them on all the time.
Dupli Color Peel Off product is a no no for me, It did the same thing with my plastic interior chrome and was very dissapointed. Never Again, I rather buy Plasti-Dip instead !
Just giving people a heads up that this dulls the paint, when the instructions didn't say it would. A lot of people have vehicles a lot nicer than mine and may not like that surprise.

Man I'm so jealous of just how clean that truck is. I've got an 85 Toyota pickup that's a pile in comparison to yours. Love it keep it up.
Thanks! To be honest, my truck looks better in video. If I filmed in 4K, you'd see the flaws.
Love that paint scheme I wanted to do it on my 88

The shine came back so... No.
Have to clear coat
