When a magnet is broken into smaller pieces, each piece still behaves like a magnet, with both a North and a South pole. This is because the magnetic properties of a material arise from the alignment of tiny regions called "magnetic domains" within the material.
Here's how it works:
Magnetic Domains: A magnet is made up of many tiny regions called magnetic domains. Each domain is like a tiny magnet with its own North and South pole. In a magnetized material, these domains are aligned in the same direction, creating a larger, overall magnetic field with a North and South pole.
Breaking a Magnet: Even when you break the magnet, the new ends that are created automatically become the new North and South poles.
Ok
Thank you sir
Thanku sir
Sir thank you I understood the chapter better also you taught better than my teacher thanks...❤
WHAT ARE MAGNETS?
Magnets can be formed through several natural and artificial processes.
1. Natural Magnets: Lodestones are naturally occurring magnets. They are formed over long periods through natural processes such as the Earth's magnetic field acting on certain minerals, particularly magnetite. In the presence of the Earth's magnetic field, some regions within the magnetite become aligned, causing the material to develop a magnetic field and become a natural magnet.
2. Artificial Magnets : Temporary Magnets are materials that can become magnetized temporarily when exposed to a magnetic field but lose their magnetism when the external field is removed. An example is a piece of iron that becomes magnetized when placed near a strong magnet.
Permanent Magnets are materials that, once magnetized, retain their magnetic properties for a long time. For example, a material like iron, cobalt, or nickel can become a magnet by placing it in a strong magnetic field. It will retain this magnetization even after the external field is removed.
IS GRAVITY A FORM OF MAGNETISM?
No. Gravity is not a form of Earth's magnetism. Gravity is the force that makes objects fall to the ground and keeps planets in orbit around the sun. Gravity affects all objects with mass, regardless of their material composition or whether they are magnetic.
❤❤❤
sir kyunki gravity hr ek chiz ko khinchti chahe vo magnetic ho ya non magnetic .
Am I Right sir?
Sir you are the best teacher. I would learn more things from you.
It will repel because they are like poles ( north and north )
Lodestones are naturally magnetized pieces of the mineral magnetite. They have the unique ability to attract iron and are one of the first materials discovered to possess magnetic properties.
Historically, lodestones were used in early compasses because they could align themselves with the Earth's magnetic field, pointing towards the magnetic poles. This made them valuable for navigation. They were also considered mystical or magical in various cultures and were believed to have protective or healing properties.
Best teacher🎉
Tq so mush
Sir bohut acha sa samaj maia
Sir ap question and answer nahi karate😢😢😢😢
Dont you see the separate videos being done? And the questions that will come in your exam are not these kind of questions given in the book
thank you sudhir sir.
Sir how to identify the ring magnet n pole and s pole
Sir, I am in class 6. I love your video❤
Your teaching parton is very nice
What is Parton?
Physics: A hypothetical elementary particle that is thought to be a constituent of protons and neutrons. Partons are massless, point-like, and interact electromagnetically like leptons. They can be thought of as a beam of collinear particles and are characterized by their spin and momentum. Partons were originally postulated in the theoretical analysis of high-energy scattering of electrons by nucleons. In American English, partons are now identified with quarks.
Sir this is the meaning of parton
Sir if we put magnet on the table and one under the table if we move the under magnet why upper magnet move
You are the best teacher
When teacher explain l do not understand
The magnet will ripple
43:30 away from each other
HOW IS EARTH A MAGNET?
The Earth acts as a giant magnet due to the movement of molten iron and other metals in its outer core. This movement generates a magnetic field, which extends from the core out into space, influencing various natural phenomena and protecting the planet from harmful solar radiation.
Understood sir! 😊
Best teacher forever😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
I am also in class 6
Gold, Diamond, Rudy is magnetic material or not

We can't know about your school 🏫
sir which place you are recording this vidio?'
Where to find the chapter notes and can we study them for exams?
I have put them as comments on this video.
Sir ques-ans???
Thank you so much ❤
Thank u sir😊

So nice
Amazing sir😍😍🤩🤩😊😊🙂🙂
Wow sir 😊😊
Wow
Sir I am in clas 10th
SIR my since mark has 99.9 thanku sir for teching
How can you score 99.9 because book was not come 4-5 months?
6 class is me reading
You should say : I study in Class 6. What you are doing is to think in Hindi and translating it in the same order (6th class me main padhta hoon). I would strongly advise you to get into the habit of thinking in English and not in any of the regional languages because the grammar is very different.
it will repal
No sir it will not attract each other
Move far away
Sir I am in class 6th

How natural magnet form I didn't understand
The Earth's magnetic field plays a crucial role in the formation of natural magnets. As the iron-containing minerals cool and solidify, the magnetic domains within the minerals can align with the Earth's magnetic field. If the alignment is strong enough, the material can retain this magnetic orientation, becoming a natural magnet.
