Great video! I don’t have a switch but it will probably be my next console purchase. To the moon seems very interesting. For the next collection video I definitely vote PS2.

Absolutely love Switch collection videos! Impressive collection, lots of interesting pick ups. It mirrors my collection in alot of ways. Currently have over 1000 physical releases for the Switch. Im all about the Imports and physical releases we dont get here in the States. There is just something special about The Switch that makes collecting for it so much fun. It's highly addictive! BTW, Moero Chronicle is an amazing dungeon crawler like Mary Skelter! Definitely give that game a go, I throughly enjoyed it!

It really does have an amazing and unique library. 1000 games for the system is insane. I know some guys online that have close to that many, but I don't think any of them have broken the 1000 mark yet. Congrats on being in the lead!

@@RNGGamerYT Yep I was surprised to that is why I started buying every game that that was censored on Playstation 5 for my Nintendo Switch oled instead since Nintendo keeps the majority of them uncensored.

Dude Astral Chain is one of the absolute best looking and visually appealing game with an amazing art style and the gameplay is absolutely INCREDIBLE there's a lot of unique game mechanics that is really fun and in depth. You have to play it ASAP don't let your backlog keep you from playing this game man put it in the front trust me! Oh and the music is some of the best I've ever heard it's a mix between Djent metal and electronic reminds me a bit of Periphery in a way

This is a NICE collection. You have great taste: lots of indie & rare gems, plus the Nintendo mega-classics. I frequent Super Rare, Limited Run, iam8bit, Fangamer and the other limited physical game printing companies myself.

Insane collection🤯 loved Bayonetta, got 3 but wanna play 2 first but seems harder to get😅 made me add even more games to my wishlist😂 some that I was interested were out of my price range or Japanese version and don't know if they play in english😅 trying to get more switch games as least collected as it's the most expensive to collect for but I love the system. 'Every switch has Zelda breath of the wild' me who didn't like it so doesnt own it😂
Definitely play Bayonetta 2 first! It's a much better game.

I used to be a PlayStation buff but I came to realise that the Switch has more games that appeal to me so I got the Mario Red Edition and I couldn’t be happier, yes the Switch isn’t perfect but the good far outweighs the bad for me, I can’t see myself going back to PlayStation or anything else now. Anyway cool collection and video.

@@RNGGamerYTyou’re welcome and Iagree with but the Switch has more of what I want than PlayStation, I had a PS4 but didn’t enjoy it as much as the Switch as I found that i struggled with games on PS4 as they’re not as accessible as Nintendo games in terms of being easy to pick up and play, plus there’s the micro transactions that I’m not a fan of with PlayStation and I know the Switch isn’t perfect, with issues with the E shop, etc but the Switch resonates with me more than the PlayStation now, but i still respect those who prefer PlayStation over Switch and prefer the PlayStation of old and don’t like what PlayStation has become, I was close to getting a PS5 but decided against it because Nintendo is literally the last link to the golden age of gaming with so many retro and indie titles on Switch plus Nintendo remaking and evolving a lot an of their classic IPs which sealed the deal for me and I wished I’d gotten the Switch sooner but better late than never. Again nice collection.

@@RNGGamerYT thanks, I probably only touched my PS4 maybe 3 or 4 times and I just felt uninspired to play it so I traded it with about 20 games got for Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda Breath of the Wild and the rest is history.

Very enjoyable video. It was fun to hear your thoughts on the games you played. You also had a lot of niche titles scattered in your collection. Let me recommend Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy it. However, it turned out to be a really well made game. Highly enjoyable!
Senran Kagura is such a fun series but I couldn’t play the pinball version because I couldn’t find a good enough excuse to tell my wife if she ever caught me playing it. I own a water gun version of that series that had a VR mode and it was really hilarious. Not the best game but it was fun.
Since you enjoy RPG’s, you should give Atelier Ryza a try. It’s a game based on alchemy and it turned out to be a very enjoyable adventure. It’s hard to find but would fit perfectly in your collection.
Bayonetta Origins is on my wish list to pick up, so I'll be trying it for sure.
I have tried a couple of the Atelier games, but could never get into them. Maybe I should give them another shot.

So we have very similar tastes so I’m surprised to see you didn’t like Iconoclasts! One of my favorites.
I think their biggest mistake is billing it as a Metroidvania. It’s a linear platformer for sure, backtracking is only to get optional secrets. If you go into it wanting that metroidvania fix well… you aren’t gonna get it lol!
And it’s really more a puzzle game than a traditional platformer, combat feels secondary to puzzles.
But I found the story and the absurd level it went to in the second half absolutely amazing! And loved the varied puzzle based bosses.
You have fantastic taste in games! I was surprised that I didn't like Iconoclasts either. It really seems like something I would really love, but it just didn't get there for me.
Astral Chain is one of my Favorite games on the switch. The story is great, the combat is a lit of fun, the Music is top notch and has wonderful transitions between normal music and combat music. Play it, I promise you will not regret it.
ok Grandia is a Great game, best RPG on the PS1 in my opinion.
A lot of people commenting on this video have had a ton of positive things to say about Astral Chain. I'm really looking forward to it. I've played a little of Grandia on the Dreamcast, but it was a long, long time ago

I think xeno 3 is good but might not be up your alley if 2 wasn't your vibe, torna supposed to be better than 2. Fantastic collection as usual 🎉 Also, 50 copies of that senran pinball game gashhhh 😅

I HIGHLY recommend you try out the other Gal Gun games (Gal Gun Returns and Gal Gun Double Peace) as they're a lot better than Gal Gun 2!
I played the first one on PS4! It was definitely better!
To the Moon is so good. Played it like 10 years ago on a macbook as a college freshman after paying like $2.50 for a Humble Bundle it was included in. Gotta play it again soon. I agree: Xenoblade on Wii is the best. Xenoblade 3 is easily a top 10 RPG on Switch but if you're playing it for any other reason than the map and the combat it's not going to blow you away. It's not a waifu collector like 2, but it's 110% filled to the brim with tropes , deus ex machina plot contrivances, and paper thin characters, i.e. it's anime. I liked it but I still don't know if I 105 hours liked it.
I'm glad you liked To The Moon. It really was spectacular. Thanks for letting me know about Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I think the issues you mentioned bother me a lot more than they once did. I'm exhausted with anime tropes, plots about saving the world, and superficial characters. I didn't even like exploring the world in Xenoblade X or 2. Maybe 3 just isn't for me
@@RNGGamerYT It's great for what it is but Monolith's Xenosaga days are long gone. Who knew analyzing the human condition doesn't sell as well as cute girls and gorgeous vistas? Definitely fun every once in a while, but 100 hours though. . . I won't ever replay it. Too bad.
Hopefully the algorithm will let you play Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey Redux on 3DS. Still a save the world story but the characters are grounded and the atmosphere feels like a more surreal 2001 with demons. Check out the soundtrack even if you can't play for it a while. Cheers
@@Ravenamps Thanks for letting me know. I played through most of Xenosaga 1 when I was in college, but got too busy and put it down. All three of those games are currently in the backlog and I'll get to them one day. I like existential themes in games, so maybe they will appeal to me more as an adult rather than a capricious college student.
I missed out on SMT Strange Journey on the 3DS, but I' have been on the lookout for it for a while.
Mario cart 8 for the switch doesn't have pre unlocked levels you have to win on one track on all parts of the first slide then you unlock new race tracks as you go
Are you sure? I'm pretty sure the first 4 cups are available at the start, and you had to unlock them one by one on the WiiU.
But, it's been a while since I've played either one. So, maybe you're right
@RNGGamerYT yes cause I have the game and been playing it all the levels are locked you have to play through to unlock them
I think we have a similar taste in games so here is my take on the Xenoblade series. I didnt play the first one on the Wii, cause honestly, I really hated the wii's motion controls and I have recently started to pick up stuff for the wii. I have only had a Switch since May but I have around 70ish games for it so I am making up for lost time lol. So the first Xenoblade i played was the the defentive edition and I freaking loved it, so much I went out and got part 2 and torna right away. And I did not like part 2 as much as the first but you need to treat xc2 and torna as one package, it kind of helps you appreciate the original game more. and I am only a few hours into the 3rd game but it really builds off the stuff torna got right so I do recommend playing it from what I have seen so far.
Also love Astral Chain. And To The Moon is pretty sweet, even more impressive that it was built in RPG maker.
Thanks for chiming in. I'm starting to think the things that people like about the Xenoblade series just isn't suited to me. I'm really worn out on anime tropes. Glad to know about Astral Chain! People have been hyping it up.
@@RNGGamerYT I can only tell you what I like about it. It just has a really epic and grand story and it its high fantasy/sci fi, which I normally dont care for sci fi stuff. Has really good music and its well voice acted and nice cut scenes. Its action combat but it feels more mmo'ish which i like since i have a billion hours into eq and wow. So I like that. I like anime so I kind of get the trope thing being to much, but I feel 95% of jrpg teeter on that in some way or form.
I did finish up FE Engage and loved it, But I honestly just clicked through most of the relationship stuff, some love it but its not my thing, I only do that when I need it to progress in the game.

I'm just gonna buy these on steam... these cost too much.
They do get expensive! You can't resell them if you get them on steam, though.
@@RNGGamerYT I understand. I can't afford the $90-$100 Cursed Castilla, Wallachia compared to $10 on steam. Or Xeodrifter on switch & on steam it's like $1.

I keep up with a lot of other collectors. We try to keep everyone notified of most things that are coming out
Nice collection, got quite a bit of overlap with mine. But no need to be embarrassed IMO of boob mouse pad. LOL. Don't know if you have kids but you eventually realize it's all just about circle of life man. Religion has made us ashamed of our own bodies in order to control the populace.
It's so hard not to be embarrassed about it! I do have kids... so, I have to maintain some sense of decorum.
