- We are close to seeing the Nintendo Switch hit 5 years. It's been one of my favorite consoles to play and also collect for, today let's take a look at 50 Physical Games in my Collection!
Gotta disagree about Yoshi's Crafted World. It's not the hardest game out there, but I found it absolutely delightful. I agree with you about the Switch, though. Best console ever.

collection videos like this is exactly what i love seeing. lots of great coverage of these games and kaze is still one of my favorite indie platformers i played in a wile. i hope they do another and it has more levels. lol that laugh about the smash community

Fantastic collection, dude! Mine isn't quite that big yet (PriceCharting has me at 39 - which is more than I would have guessed, but they take up so little space on the shelf that I guess it's easy to underestimate 😅). You've got some really solid titles there. I think my favorite is a three-way tie between Live A Live, Undertale, and Crystar. Yeah, that's cheating a bit, but whatever. 😆

I had a very similar experience with Astral Chain. I got roped into buying it due to all of the hype and I was desperate for an action adventure game on my Switch. So I used my Target Red Card to at least get the game 5% off. Brought it home and for me it was the outlandish and wacky story that I just couldn't get into. The controls are certainly a bit much, but for me it was the story. I eventually quit playing after a certain point in the game. I had enough. I still have it because one day I intend to dive back into it and give it another go. I wish I liked it, but maybe it just isn't for me. At least like you I do own a physical copy of both Street Fighter Anniversary Collection and Mega Man 11, and those continue to bring me joy!

As of this post, I have 56 physical Switch games and 32 digital games. Didn't think I had that many till I looked at my database.
Yeah it creeps up on you, thats a sign of a good console I think.
Fantastic collection. I have 40 games myself and after taking a break from collecting have started again with some great games I missed while I stopped. Its a little addictive. I appreciate the thoughts and saying which games are for you and which aren't. A game can be great just not personally for you. Its with that reasoning that I've been slowly paring down my collection of 700 games into a more curated collection
Thank you so much and yes collecting can do that. I try to set my limits like 1 rule I cant buy a new game until I at least beat one. It helps the backlog.

Me too now the booklets are the first 2 hours of gaming "press A to jump" I know! Haha

I have a lot of these. I have 297 games, but I've probably played about 1/5th of my collection. I really like the 3rd party ports like Dying Light, Serious Sam Collection, the Crysis games, and BioShock Collection. Mario Maker 2 and Link's Awakening are my favorite 1st party games. I have a lot of obscure stuff...favorite might be F.I.S.T.

I'm with you on Limited Run but when it came to stuff like Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and how much I love that game, I definitely am on board. That game along with Castle Crashers and Double Dragon Neon helped bring back beat em ups and now we're getting all kinds of good ones.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is really good, totally enjoyed it.
Super Mario Odyssey definitely is the best 3d Mario. They really knocked it out of the park, and if not for Breath of the Wild would have been the best game for the Switch in 2017.
The end to that game is amazing!
I'm just wondering, do you have the 25th anniversary edition of Night Trap on the switch? Which is a game from the 90's that would NEVER appear on a Nintendo system.
I don't but would own for that very reason

Awesome vid, now I gotta put more time in on FFXII on PC in a desperate attempt to beat it before they pull it from gamepass. But if I fail I snagged the Xbox one copy cheap and will try again later.
I've had that feeling about FFX2 I actually never played a lot of it. Kinda want the collection remaster on Switch.

@@xanderskullion I was bored in lockdown in 2020 so as a fan of tech I decided to try it and was actually really impressed by it just like the switch to go from the TV to phone or tablet is a great experience. And latency is better than I thought I've been able to beat people playing on PC in rainbow six no problem. They have this new section now called trials where you don't even need to sign up I believe just click it and play.i definitely say try it for yourself

I have 28 games in total (2 in 2022) and I think it's a lot of games, I have other consoles, current gen and not, on Switch the games are ported, tba, etc. I really don't understand a "player" who buys hundreds of games switch, do you play or just collect?!?

What, you didn't like Sword of Mana? Other than Secret of Mana it's my favorite from that series.
Its not terrible but I still like FF Adventure a little more.

Is the Mario deluxe similar to the super mario back in about 2010?
Yes it has an added mode with the little ninja guy but it's pretty much the same

It's actually DragonBall Fighters not Fighter Z. I still call it DragonBall Fighter Z though in the cheesy announcer style.

The new pokemon snap has to much talking/text. The 64 version just flows better. The progression is slow and boring for the switch version.
