These are the effective types of blocking in a real fighting situation. There is no time to plant your blocks, but just to be reactive. These blocks are simple and effective. Our 8 defensive kata, form, was developed from these blocks. - Развлечения
What types of blocks do you focus working on the most?
This like dummy technix viral
Mawashi Uke and kake-uke mainly, but a lot of open hand blocks.
Also, Hi! Goju Ryu Karate-Ka here!
Every blocks is necessary cuz you never know your attacker would react....so all blocks to focus on.
"There, I gave you an option" at Double Hand Block is crazy.
When you have something is coming at you fast, raise both hands for deflection because truly you don't know where or how that thing is flying at you.
I liked your training please am a slow learner so can you repeat part 1 again
@@davidwombui9382I can do another video and slow it down
Great videos i really enjoy them. I also liked the freedom approach you speak about in regarding Kata. We all need to look into the Kata and find away to make it realistic.
I am going to make a kata video and talk about the applications and freedom of the movements soon.
@@continuousfist Thanks! Looking forward to it. I know and incredible Martial Artist when I see one..
@eddienegrino8348 hopefully we cross path someday and share our karate.
Master you have showed fantastic illustration. 👍🙏
Very nice stap and nice trick
I like the way you are teaching this is the exactly information have been looking for realism is there
Thank you for watching!
I really enjoyed your 2 blocking videos. The only things I would add that we do at my dojo are that the covers for the blocks are blocks themselves and a change of stance is also a way of blocking by either getting out of the way or by reducing the surface area of our target. Please excuse me if you have covered either of those concepts before or if you disagree. Either way, great videos. Just subscribed!
Love it!!! Thank you for subscribing and please share your thoughts. I agree with your point.
the best i ever see !
Thank you! And please continue to support my channel 🙏
I'll start following your videos 😅👍
Thank you for your support
Let me know how you train after learning a form. Are you focused on the pattern or the applications?
Thanks master
You are welcome

Yes , that's very good his technick
THIS IS A TIP FOR ALL THAT IS WATCHING THIS VIDEO, THESE 8 MOVES CAN ONLY WORK FOR THOSE WHO DEDICATE THEMSELVES TO HARDCORE PRACTICE.
Thank you for your support!
Master
Top❤❤
Danke. Das Wichtigste überhaupt "Blocken".! Hätte ich es doch nur vor 40Jahren Begriffen.
Das macht die Asiatische Kampfkunst aus "BLOCKEN".!
DANKE für diese Tolle Lehrstunde.!
Glad to share! Thank you for watching!
Kata is just an encyclopedia, it is a set of strikes, stances, blocks, and steps. The form shows only one variant of using the movement. Everything depends on how we will combine all these techniques. All combinations and movements cannot fit into forms or kata. There are a lot of options ...You need a creative approach and an understanding of how you can combine all these movements at your own discretion and be free in your own style. Thank you for the interesting and useful videos...We are waiting for new videos...good luck to you
Yes!!! I love your insights!
👊👊👊👊👊❤👍👍👍👍👍 SUPER
Do you have a breakdown of the Kata?
I will make a video for it

I really curious what rype ofxkarafe is this i don't recognize it?
Short answer is karate under a realistic situation where you can’t rely on forms in your kata. My background is Shorin Ryu karate. Check out my other video about the best martial arts style. Thank you for watching 🙏
what about if you are practicing solo ? can you make one..thanks
It's called doing kata with an awesome imagination. You can do it! Thanks for watching.
❤
Block and punch must be launched simultaneously.
That's the goal too.
Ok
How do you know where he gonna strick
Exactly, you don't. That's why it is better to strike than to block. Watch my other videos. Thank you for watching.
Forcus is the key
How do you broke a boxer
I will have a video for that.
Tell your partner to pull back his punch just like he would punch in a real fight. Try to catch or trap his hand...impossible
Yup. That is right. Continuous punches would be difficult to catch, but only parry. The extra moves were only to learn continuous movements. The essence of the video is in the types of blocks if punches come to you as fast as you said. Thank you for watching my videos.
Hilarious
You can pull off any nove when the attacker moves slow & stops with their predictable attacks.. Put some damn pads on & spar!!!
First, we need to walk, then we run. Good point, but not for this video. Thank you for watching!
@@continuousfist First is being realistic & getting direction.. Punches were like a ft away from your face. With this type of training you could train for years & still get destroyed by a random off the streets
Let’s see you try this on someone who actually intends on hitting you…
We do have sparring where someone hits you for real, but karate is for health purposes while making training practical. We shouldn't train where our training partner can get hurt permanently.
@@continuousfist I say that because this looks cool, but does not look like it works. This comes from someone who used to train muy Thai.
@JakeEatNow Muay Thai is strong and vicious. I will have a video on different styles and how they complement each other. Thank you for watching and supporting my videos!
A lot of similarity to Wing Chun
Okpo
The puncher is not moving like a real fighter. His "punches" are moving like he's expecting the (particular) block in focus. Not moving TO the target. A real fighter is throwing the punch with body weight and closing distance.
This is for tutorial. Thanks for watching
Originally in Wing Chun, Copy-Paste.
Gald you see similarities. Thanks for watchjng.
Nahhhh. Won't work against muay.
Maybe or maybe not, depending on the fighter, not the style.
Nonsense comments
I like the way you are teaching this is the exactly information have been looking for realism is there
I am glad to help.
