For the most part, it can receive all notifications. But you may need to enable notification access for certain apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, youtube etc in the Huawei health app before it does. Yup instantly.

Hi. I don't don't think it's possible to connect this watch to a computer. Because it only connects through the Huawei health app and that's not available for desktop.

In general, you cannot reply to text messages from the Huawei watch gt series. You can read them. Whether you are connected to Android or iPhone.

Yes it normal for the watch gt 2 because it can answer incoming calls and check system notifications. One connection is for synchronizing phone contacts and receiving incoming calls. The other connection is for receiving system notifications. Nothing to worry about.

Thank you. Thank you. Finally got it working with my iPhone 13. Yee! ha! What I did discover is you must reset the phone and delete all data previously on the watch. So it's a factory reset. And then you start and register afresh. Your old Android account goes.

Thanks for the nice video. I have a question for you please as I’m connecting my GT2 to iPhone. I noticed that the app does not continue working in the background though I have the settings to do so.
Whenever I swipe the app up and reopen, it shows the watch as disconnected on the top right.
This was not the case with my Garmin for example.

When I close the Huawei Health app, iOS disconnects the Health app from the Smatwatch. So the watch is not able to synchronize automatically (when the app is closed). After every few days, the app sends me a notification that data from the watch is not synchronized. So I open the app again. Each time i open the app it shows disconnected, but after a few seconds it connects. And auto synchronizes. iOS does not allow the Huawei health app to run continuously in the background due to security/privacy reasons. Because this app always tracks your location.

The problem is that in this case, the weather will not be up to date so this is why it is important to keep the app running by not swiping up.
Did you manage to keep the weather updated in another way?
Beside I think to be honest that the issue is in the app and not the phone as I mentioned before, my Garmin Watch was always connected, sync and updating weather even if swiped up.

So here's what I've just figured out. When I leave the app without swiping it off in the recent apps, the weather keeps updating each time i look at it. But if I swipe it off the recent apps it doesn't update at all. That's the only way to fix that for now.

I had a Huawei and my parents brought me it for Christmas now a few days ago I got an iPhone I need help connecting it only connects with my moms watch and she has a different model of the watch. Ps thanks for helping I did the rest but at 0:38 really helped me to do the rest of the steps.

You can't download extra watch faces when connected to iOS. To do that, you would have to connect to an android device, then install custom watch faces, before reconnecting back to an iPhone.

Yes you can.
Wich functionalities could you loose if you connect this smartwatch with an iphone instead a Huawei phone?
No stress tracking, no changing/installing of new displays from the app and a few others which I can't remember.

Yes if you have the watch gt 2 (which has a speaker and microphone) then you can receive calls directly on the watch. But if you have the watch gt 2e or other version, you can only see incoming calls and then answer on your phone or reject from the watch

Ok. So let me know. How should I make a tutorial for something that's not possible to do? It is not possible to change/install watch faces on a Huawei watch gt 2 using an iPhone. You can only do it using an Android phone. Install the Huawei Health App on an Android phone > connect you watch to the android phone > and install new watch the new watch faces > then connect your watch back to your iPhone.

Try to uninstall that app and reinstall it before pairing
Nebaa did that dozens of times, paired now but can’t use the app at all, crashes every single time.

Health app - devices - watch gt2 pro - scroll down - click on notifications - enable notifications - then enable notifications for each app that you want.

Check if you've granted the necessary permissions to the health app i.e contacts, phone, location

Mine only receives notifications while am wearing it. But when i take it off, it doesn't. Is that the same situation for you? Have you tried restarting your phone? Or perhaps reinstalling the app and reconnecting it to the watch?

U can't transfer music, or play pause music directly on ur iphone, there's no stress measurement, and a few others which i cant quite remember
