I love your videos! It’s amazing how people can do this, especially you! Question: how much are you paid for these commissions?
you can always find the link to my prices in my descriptions, i keep that on my website! of course youd have to subtract the cost of materials and income tax from the prices on my website, I don't actually make all of that as profit - it depends on how big the commission is as to what I get paid, but I'm paying myself no more than $10/hour at this point. Super severely undercharging for this skilled labor LMAO i barely make anything for how long these take.
Quick question: how much time in average does it take you to make a full fursuit? I’m trying to see if I’ll be able to make a fullsuit in 9 months without lacking sleep and food. I adore your videos!❤️
Ive only made 1 fullsuit before, and that took me about a year because i went slow and didnt know what i was doing, so I'm not sure!
Im really hoping to commission you in the future, i’m a minor still and my parents think commissioning a suit is too much of a hassle and that i should just buy one off of amazon
i don’t think they really get that it’s a customized piece of art and not just a fluffy mass produced costume

HEHEHE BUBBA!!! yes absolutely, if the commissioner doesnt specifically want/request it then I do a less detailed timelapse but if the client really wants me to film as much as possible then I add more detail in there!! i could do a lil series for your fullsuit

Can you do a little band aid tut? Since I see that that character has one
oh dangit I didnt film that part bc it took me so little time! basically, draw a bandaid shape, sew it and leave a hole to turn right side out, then the client wanted it sewn on so I simply laid it on and ladder stitched around the edges onto the nose.

Why did you add tape sorry I’m new to this community
They add tape so that you can draw on the fur patterns to cut them out onto the fur so that they fit properly when you sew it all together. Also make sure you cover the base with plastic wrap before adding the tape otherwise you can't get it off
for duct tape yeah! masking tape sticks less and it's easier to get it off :3

I made a custom template on paper with pencil,I watched Nerrfitity video,
and I want to know if these are normal
1. Is it normal for
. the short arm sleeve to be double my wrist length?---+
2. What direction should the fur be facing
3. is fursuit making a profitable business
4. is it better to start off at a young age making fursuits *13*
5.How to get motivation
6. What is the average time it takes to make paws
7.How to get the right measurements for paws hand ✋
. I think I was here 2 years ago asking the same thing but it was a pdf file template. after that I got out the fandom but now I go in again because I got a hoodie
1. make the arm opening wide enough to put your hand through! cut that number in half for your 1/2 pattern. when its doubled itll be the right circumference
2. have the fur flowing towards the fingertips
3. its not really a profitable business. its very hard to make good money from this. the suits take MANY hours to make and you cant really price them high enough to be paid well for the effort!
4. you shouldnt be running a fursuit business at 13 but if you want to make your own costumes at 13 just for fun you should! the earlier you start the better youll be at 18+ when you can operate a business.
5. i get motivation by A) learning and watching tutorials for what i wanna do and B) just watching timelapses of people crafting
6. paws usually take me 3-4 days, but i know people who can do them in 1 day. depends on the person
7. just trace your hand! and wrap a measuring tape around your arm/wrist where you want the paws to come up to.

just masking tape I get from the dollar tree!

@@mil0saurrrr I just opened a new roll the other day - I find the first few feet aren't as sticky but later on in the roll it improves! if you wanna try something else tho, try the scotch brand masking tape, or find some on amazon. or you can use duct tape, but it's too sticky for my tastes lmao
