The sound and formations are so crisp! I love this!!
Their formations and lines were tight and clean. 🎼🎵
They were like such a crazy combo of show style with the their drills. Marching excellence
Playing in Burke High School in the early nineties, this why FAMU was so well respected and feared. FAMU would bust your ass technical, and funk wise. FAMU will get back there!
Really really great show never seen footage of famu that's this old.
It’s always so wonderful to watch the rich traditions of this band, from one performance to the next, one year to the next.
This sound!!!! I wish the band was still this clean formation wise.
Freddy J same here freddy.peewee. ribault back rank
All the way live the real 💯🐍🔥🎼🎵✊
Yes sir, this is the "REAL" ALL MALE FAMU marching 100! NO FEMALES! The Marching 100 transitions were clean and precise, and the DM's weren't grabbing, twirling, and flinging their capes around all the time like the DM's doing today. Yes sir, this the "REAL" FAMU I fell in love with, back in the mid 70's.
Wanna stfu now?
I feel you i was there ahead of you always felt the all male band was so unique about the band . I was sad when females joined the 100 chocolate chip was the name given to the first female i remember in the 100. I was impressed with her ability to keep up but sad too because it would not be all male any more! I love this band and in this clip they truly are at their finest. Hubba hubba rattlers.crisp, clean, &clear. They always made me proud to be a Rattler from age 5-67🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍💯💕💕
Women were members of the 100 for at least ten years before this performance
@@th3livinglegend no women came on board in 1972, because I was the very first women to write Mr. Foster to ask could I join the band in 1971 and he wrote back and told me that they were not accepting women at that time, I played drums and wanted to be in the drumline, but in 1972 I was told that they were accepting women but by then I had join the Air Force but the letter I wrote open the doors for women to join but I didn't get to join.
Carmena Fennel and Debra Hines were the first women in the marching 100 1974.Then in 1975 five other women came out..
LOVE this once you get started, pick up the pieces and THATS the way I LIKE IT
