Great gifts to relax!! A cup of tea, candles burning, moose socks, and a book!! Sounds like heaven!! The Alice book was sure cute, and I had never seen the Old faithful salt and pepper shakers!! Very you!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Your mail days are so fun. I love seeing all the treasures sent to you. The Old Faithful salt & pepper shakers are amazing. Of course there’s always Alice. 😂
Hi Renee. Thank you for sharing mail day. Sorry, I have not been feeling well today. Going through the stomach bug. But mail day is fun. Love the moose and everything you got from your viewers. God Bless you Renee. HUGS 🤗. Mari'a. ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🌼🌸🌺👍👍👍👍👋👋👋👋
Once again a huge pile of very thoughtful and generous gifts from your lovely viewers, so I am quite sure that a lot of them will be great additions to your collection. Also amazing to hear that you just bought more storage units with some pleasant surprises, can´t wait to know more about it. Perhaps another decent haul on antique books ? 😃 Even your recent purchase with forty totes full of modern books will generate a decent profit. It needs some work, but: Labor is Life, as they used to say back in the days. Keep it up, and enjoy your work- life balance ! 😉 Greets from GER, U.
Unfortunately, no antique books...perhaps one day! Good thing the weather has turned for the better here, so that I'm able to be outside in the sun & fresh air going through the totes that I do have (a video update on that tomorrow!). I actually just looked at the weather for next week & it is calling for temps in the 80s! Crazy. Guess the flea market will be picking up for sure! Hope that you had a good Tuesday!
The "stars" bring me back to my early days. They were used to mark attendance at Sunday School and various other ways in grade school. Lots of wax melts and that wax warmer is fabulous. I could see that sitting on my counter. I love the pine trees and the moose silhouettes. Very nice. Lovely gifts and a great mail day.
Beautiful items! You have a very calming presence in your videos and your temperament reminds me of the quiet calmness of Mr. Rogers( from Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood)
Hello Renee. How are you doing this fine Tuesday? Fantastic I hope. All is well on my end. This mail day has been very fun . Everything you love has been delivered to you. So happy for you. The Yellow Stone salt and pepper shakers are wonderful. I have always loved the honey comb trees and other decorations, they’re so pretty. I hope the rest of your week will hold more treasures. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🥰🥰🥰☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Love watching your videos. I’m a big thrifter.watching you has expanded my interest in old photos and other ephemera Keep Up The good work and your enthusiasm for things that might otherwise have been discarded
Oh Boy!....a Paper and Moose mail day video! I'm going to get out my Cracker Jacks and Zero bars, and a couple of huckleberry margaritas, go lay on the couch and watch it! 🍹 It's funny you mentioned a "manure spreader"...my ex said I had a mouth like one!...I'm still trying to figure that one out..🤔
Your manure spreader joke haha :0) Can always trust you to provide a little chuckle! A huckleberry margarita sounds wonderful! Save one for me, I'm on my way!
Little PAM needs to grow her hair longer! I remember Parker, Waterman, and Shaffer's...the big three of fountain pen manufactures. I believe Parker had a plant in Camden, as well as Campbell Soup and of course, the Victor Talking Machine Co. Nice haul! Sadly, I have yet to find items to send your way...still have to go through my "Drawer of Memories"...more of old family photos and cards. Speaking of pens, I knew a fellow who had a large collection...housed in a neat vintage dental cabinet. In a way, I envied him, as his collection took up so little space, unlike mine, which occupies half of my full basement (vintage radios, Victrolas, records, and trains! Oh, I almost forgot the fr-gs, telephones, and cookie jars!)
@@PaperandMoose Hope you will find one of these cabinets. I remember one my first dentist had...it was quartered oak with a white marble top. Dr. Fischel is long gone...but his home still has the dental office in operation, remodeled, of course and Asian staff, by the signage. Have a great flea/sale weekend!
When I was very little, a very good family friend, who was like a dad to me, nicknamed me the Campbell Soup Kid. My mom had permed my hair and my little round face made me look like the character. ha ha ha. 😂😂😂 I have a few vintage Campbell soup mugs that I treasure.
Hi Renee - such terrific gifts from everyone and even heirloom items from Amy's family (Apex is about a half-hour from here - maybe we need to form a regional fan club). The small toy car is a Barclay's slush-mold (I think that's how you say it) die cast. I had to get some of those, plus a Barclays car carrier, for my Dad once - when he thought I had gotten my Uncle something better than he got. All those different scents! They say smell is one of the most powerful memory triggers, so hoping you have a lot of fall days this spring. Was that moose painting a watercolor that Janet painted? And so much vintage Christmas from Kelly. Was it a fashion to paint trees silver at one time? I know they show aluminum trees in the Peanuts Christmas Special? You've probably seen it, but good article today in the NYT about the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone and their effect on the ecosystem. Thanks for sharing all this mail! Have a fab Tuesday! Looking forward to seeing what "pleasantly surprised" you!
A "slush-mold"... All the little details about little Barclay cars! I'm sure there's been a book written about them. Add that to the list! Currently I'm reading "Nuclear War: A Scenario" by Annie Jacobsen and my oh my... I just started the book and already have had some "Oh my" moments. The Yellowstone article makes one realize, which I forget most times, just how much goes on behind the scenes in keeping Yellowstone thriving. Of course, with that comes bickering sides over what should/shouldn't be done. All of this is usually forgotten by us visitors, yet there are so many people studying even the tiniest of creatures in Yellowstone to ensure its' livelihood.
Renee was it raining when you were filming this video? Because i was listening thru headphones and it sounded like a wind/rain storm going on. What lovely gifts from all of those generous viewers. I love seeing all the vintage cards, etc. Brings back so many memories. P.s. I burn the balsam candles too all year long as well as freshener spray..reminds me of Christmas All year long 😊
Hi - production tip (??) just watched another "picker" and he has a head camera which allows both hands to be used and view we get looking in boxes is better than you trying to move the camera which never quite get there. Do love looking at this topic a lot - keep it up please.
I’ve explained in several of my videos why I do not wear a chest mount. A head mount for me would be even worse. Also when opening mail on mail day, such as in this video, using a tripod is the standard method of filming.
@@PaperandMoose Yep - I've watch more of your clips, and your personality and personal presentation is very good, and would be missing from a head worn camera - good work Ma'am.
Little Pam is going to need hair extensions. Those salt and pepper shakers from Yellowstone were fun. Your followers send you the greatest treasures

A vintage dental cabinet, be still my heart! You have such great collections & display them so nicely, it's okay that they take up some room!

Kelly is from my neck of the woods, wouldn't that be something if we crossed paths thrifting or at the FM😁

I don't like the style of glasses that is the new look. They are all glasses and just not the look for me. Can't wait till this style goes outta style.
