Metal Detecting With Two Detectors: Connecticut Coin Found!

- Wow. This was a great day with some interesting finds I made with my metal detector. I spent the day searching a recently plowed field. Although the ground surface was rather rough for walking and metal detecting, finds were made. I started out using the Garrett Axiom pulse induction metal detector and switched over to the Garrett AT Max to finish out the detection.
As always this is a how to metal detecting outdoor adventure vlog that is family friendly and hopefully a fun video.
About Aquachigger:
I like to make videos that promote my lifestyle of outdoor adventure, metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed. I keep my RUclips "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
I hope to see you guys out there!

I ALWAYS enjoy your videos, brother! Just keep 'em comin',, make this old fossil happy! Thank you!
We need an update on the kittens. Bet they're getting real cute by now!😮
Chigg, you are an assassin with the Max
Oh my days! That song at the end is such an earworm! I've been going round the house singing "Mother Earth you are my lady, my big round baby" and my family think I'm bloody bonkers! Great video though. I love how Chiggs explains the signals, as I know nothing about metal detecting. It's fascinating!! Hi from London,UK. 😃
Always good to see even just a few things recovered from the ole sod. Love the dog trying to howl. So sweet to see.
Been doing a lot of bottle digging recently Chigg! Found some good spots. Learn so much from your videos!
Great to hear!
Nice finds. Thanks for showing how the pulse detector sounds.
Nice Finds!!! That Copper was Great!!! I would Love to see you find a GW button!!! Thank you for sharing your hunt with us!!! I Truly Appreciate you!!! God Bless Us All!!!
I think I like the sound of the AT Max better than the Axiom ... It sounds like a UFO. LOL. Nice job, though! That eagle button was in nice shape for just sitting on the top. I didn't know that plows went down that deep. Btw that was a beautiful quartz crystal! - Thanks for bringing us along (and for sweet Fiona at the end -- sweet baby!) - Muddypaw 🐾
We always follow the Chig! Nice finds! I hope all the kitties are doing good. Rk.

Love watching you chig when you coming back to the uk
I love the sound of a pulse machine. I wish we had the option of such a tone on vlf detectors
Your Diging In Dirt Like I Dig In. Old Bama Dirt . 😎👍✌
Good morning Chigg from Southeast South Dakota.
Awesome finds!
Thanks Chigg. Try to always watch every video you put out . Been watching since before covid. Love learning from you and enjoy every vid. Was blown away when you came to my county here in Indiana. Was sad I missed you but happy you came here. Keep up all the great adventures friend. Funny...after watching hours likely days worth of your videos over the years I feel like I know you. Many of us feel the same. 😉👍

Keep a little water spray bottle with you to wash off the dirt without rubbing the coin. The less scratches on the coin the higher resale value.
With each video I’m rooting for you to find a massive cache of confederate gold and silver coins, South American emeralds and diamonds, and next to it a water proof box with first edition superman and Spider-Man comics. Uh huh. Pet the wobbly kitten please.
Is that a mullet under the hat??? 🤯
Working on it...lol.
Plowed fields can be tough but doesn't it sometimes bring up stuff from below?
Great vidja as always
Thank,s for the training tips in your vids. Where I live is a Civil war training camp site but has been populated with homes and private properties in Western Ma. Marked "Train Field" on older maps.
I assume you don,t rinse with water to investigate further ,cause it makes it messy out in the field?
Bobbie Wobbs!
😊👍🥂
Was that Fiona trying to sing?
I think it's about time Garrett comes out with a New AT land machine. Or they probably will end up like Whites
I agree…
Many of us are hoping and praying Garrett can catch up. The Apex was a big swing and a miss.
Any thought on moving to Ripley , WV? We want out of NY badly.
Never been there, but it's out in the boonies.
@aquachigger that's exactly what I want. I'm a woodsy hermit.
@raynin Well, that's a good start for that.
How's the baby kitties 😻
I think that little bullet might be a 17HMR

That coin looks like george11 which would make it earlier
Actually Connecticut Copper coins are dated 1785-1788.
Dude.

Not trying to get you in any trouble with Garrett, but if you were buying ONE detector, would the pulse be your choice?
I can't stand the sound of pulse machines. That ground looks as hard to dig as coliché
