Some of the finest whistle playing I have witnessed. The timing is impeccable and the tone is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful sounds. The Cobre is a fine whistle, and shines in the hands of such a fine player.
Literally anything I've heard you play, you're off the charts. Music flows through you unhindered. A credit to music. Such a sound person too. Muchos bravo 👏🏽🙏🏽🌈🤙🏽
_Great playing Órlaith ...Go hálainn ar fad...The second reel a Joe Cooley favourite used also be played by a friend of mine that died way too soon...Kieran Collins from Gort_
The Copperhead is a plastic mouthpiece in copper colour. The Cobre's are £79 each. These heads were a limited edition. I am hoping to has some more soon. www.kerrywhistles.com/shop
@@NathanielDowell I wish there were several hours of Orlaith's playing on recordings, she has the range of talent to take a band into a studio and walk out with a couple great albums completed. So I'd like to see Orlaith answer that question, so we can be sure. What I have found online looks like two sources of recordings with Orlaith included: 1) with CrossHarbour on a self-titled group CD, here: crossharbourmusic.com/album-category/crossharbourcd/ , and 2) with Ceili Max, but that I am unsure of that as a source of recordings of Orlaith apart from the CrossHarbour CD being listed there too. Here is the website → ceilimax.com/irish-music-band/ >>> I have seen somewhere that Orlaith is busy taking instruction in medicine as a career and whether she's still in the halls of academia these days or has graduated, I don't know.
@@robertjohnston5011 I'm aware of Cross Harbour, but there are too many instruments detracting from her. I want a whole album with just her and some awesome guitar backing. I see videos like that on RUclips, but nothing in album format. It makes me sad.

Why don’t you come to the session in Fresno at La Boulangerie?

Legend. Love the ornamentation - really makes that Cobre sing sweetly.

Superb playing
Such a lovely style 👌
You're so good !
Un jeu totalement brillant, d'une précision technique ahurissante, et tout en musicalité, cette fille est juste hallucinante...
Unless it's sped up ,that whistle is Eb not D.
👏👏👏👏👏😊
Wonderful. Can someone please let me know what the tunes are?
The Rainy Day/Skylark
I don’t see the copper head version on the website just the molded plastic. What is the resale price of this?

Kerrywhistles keep me in the loop!
Quite magnificent playing by Orlaith McAuliffe, and a whistle with a clear clean voice throughout. When is the next Orlaith McAuliffe album out?
Is there an existing Orlaith McAuliffe album??

How can I order this whistle?
Go to kerrywhistles.com/shop it is an Optima Cobre High D.
Well played as usual but are you sure it is a high D...i dont think so.. E flat or anything else...
I think you're right. I can play along on an Eb, but not on a D.
Phil says it's a D that's been tuned up, and I can confirm that the D Cobre with the head smashed all the way down is quite nearly an Eb.
