If you think he’ sounds great recorded, you must see him live. His voice resonates throughout the arena and into your soul. Yes he is a great performer. He comes across very humble to his audience, as if he is grateful, and surprised we are all there to see him.

I grew up listening to Marco Antonio Solis because my mother listened to him all the time. He has a different voice than your "typical" Mexican singer which makes him unique. Women were in love with the Mexican Jesus back in the day!
Jose C they still in love with him to this day 😅 including men. My dad is from Michoacán and Marco Antonio Solis is his favorite singer. I’m glad my dad made me listen to him y Los Bukis. I appreciate it. ❤️🇲🇽

I'm gringa!!! Grew up with my Mexican step-dad listenng to all the best Mexican artists from the age of 10. Marco Antonio Solis being one of my favorite, along side Vicente Fernandez, Antonio Aguilar, Pepe Aguilar, Ana Gabriel, Bronco, Juan Gabriel, Joan Sebestian, Selena, Los Bukis (Marco Antonio Solis) Querame one of top Bukis songs, Los Temenarios, Los Tigeres and so many many more, I could go on... Gotta say Vicente Fernandez, Antonio Aguilar, Pepe Aguilar, Marco Antonio Solis, Jaon Sebastian and Selena are my top favorite.. I could sing so many songs and not necessarily know what I was singing, I loved and still to this day love traditional Mexican music. I would say I became very fluent in Spanish through the love of the music. I have been listening his songs since the early 70's. and attended two live concerts and you 're right when you say that: "si no te hubieras ido" must or should be his best hit. This is a very emotional song not recommended for persons with broken hearts. most of the attendees will break into tears with this song.
