I just got a Whitetail Maxx 8 days ago. First thing I noticed out of the box was the top limb bolt Allen key hole was stripped at the surface. Luckily, the hole is pretty deep and I was able to back out the draw weight. Second thing was when I set it to my drawlength and drew it back, and heard/felt a click. The bottom cam was leaning away from the cable that the drawstop peg hits. Only half the diameter of the cable was contacting the stop, so the stop would slide past the cable making the click. I fixed the factory screw-up by moving some of the cam shims so that the bow actually tuned. Furthermore, the shims between the top and bottom cams weren't even the same. I ended up making the left side shim thickness at both cams 7/32", and moved the removed shims to the right side of the cams. This made the string plumb with the riser; perfectly set the arrow centershot exactly at 7/8" from the riser, and corrected the bottom cam lean so the drawstop peg made full contact with the cable. Bear Archery couldn't have done this at the factory? I cut off the 4 string grubs on my string and installed real brass speed nocks with shrink tubing. I copied the pattern from my Bowtech RPM 360. This resulted in 50% less felt vibration and noise. Also increased arrow speed by a few FPS, as the grubs were heavy and slowed down the string. The Whitetail Maxx is shooting 385 grain Easton Axis arrows at 27" and 64# at 278 FPS. The Whitetail Maxx is also faster than my Bowtech Solution SS that's shooting a 360 grain arrow at 27" and 71# at 271 FPS on the Comfort setting.
One of the other RUclips channels said that it’s because the manufacturers wouldn’t be able to keep up with demand right before hunting season. Its already multiple weeks to get a bow if you have to order it. It’s be even longer if everyone was ordering right before season. And then after season, there would be no sales because everyone will wait til next year right before season. The way they do it now, they have the entire year to sell bows, instead of just a few months before season
I fucked up, i think. I wanted to make my draw length a hair shorter, so i moved my pins down one notch. That was way too short so i went back to "D". Now the issue im having is my letoff is almost non-existant. Before i took the pins out, i had all sorts of room to play with on letoff. Now its almost as soon as i let pressure off the release it wants to go back. Did i fuck with something else just moving those pins forward then back? Im at a loss on why my letoff pretty much disappeared.

Not bad...
You commented this on every single review
@@Shheeeeshhhhh Yep! That's how great I think this bow is. I also put up my review on ArcheryTalk awhile back.
Great bow , solid review..
I normally only shoot 60-65 pounds. Was nice to see a review @60 pounds.Kind of get more of an idea what performance i would get.
So this is quieter than the mathews phase 4?
Interesting….was going to order the adapt plus but….
My old Mathews HTR is 2 feet faster than my Gen 1 Adapt @ 60 lbs ,, I love the Adapt but I see a WT Maxx in my beer future..
Impressive! thank you
should by a new bow,, this one or Bowtech Amplify ? any suggestions ?
Why do they always wait until hunting season to release new bows to me it’s kinda stupid I would do it before the season not during
I totally don’t understand why hunting bows aren’t released early/mid summer.

You still have to wait months and months to get one. No brains on the internet
It’s like car companies releasing a new car at the end of the year
These are 2024 bows ,,, probably 8 months before the seasons of 2024,,,
For the 89.5, is that decibals? 90 is close to a lawnmower. Not sure how quiet that is..
Cobwebs on your chrono is driving me crazy
hahaha
I think that’s a very nice bow package and it’s not $1500 like Matthew and Hoyt
How does it compare to the adapt plus?
