They didn't have the e-match wires secured the best, so there's a good chance some of those match wires were pulled from the cobra mod by other firing devices, or the person firing could have simply missed the cues when firing (more likely if it was an 18r remote and not an 18r2). I noticed they had the e-match wires taped to the tops of the cakes, it's better to peel up the fuse and let it hang off the side so it doesn't pull wires when the cake fires. Some could have been bad e-matches....many things can cause product not to go.
Yeah, I can see a few bad e-matches, but on some of those shells after the show, that black match sure did burn reeeaaally slow when they lit it. I wonder if moisture might have caused some of the failures as well.
Every year, I set off a good garden display for the family, but what spoils it is having to run back and forth lighting the fuses with a dodgy lighter flame or setting up more fireworks, the kids (and adults) tend to get restless. Has anybody got a simple solution to this, like do I just get a load of fuse wire and connect it to all the fireworks, then light the fuses, because this seems like it would still create a lull between fireworks. How would you guys do it for a small consumer display? Are there 'timed' fuse wires?
You can get the systems used in this video in smaller size as well. Like a 12 channel shootingsystem. Where I live you can get those for 60euro's online. But I don't know the rules for them in America. I still like lighting the fuses though;]
sir charles I got a burnt thumb the last time. I'm in UK. What do you mean by _shooting system_? can you give me an example? How does it light the fuses? Thanks.
GetMoProductions You couls also put some 9v batteries in series, and take apart wires so you get the smaller ones (about 4cm long). if you connect the battery to the wire, it will glow red hot. Strap that to a match and tape it to a fuse. Make sure you make the circuit parallel. For convenience, you can put a switch in the circuit. Apologies for my crappy English.
GetMoProductions he means a firing system. Its all electronically controlled. You have wires running to the fuses and then the other end to a firing box. You can be a good distance away from everything and controll everything electronically. you could look on ebay to see of there are some locally. or look online for Some Firework Firing Systems
@Corn Fed You sound like a fucking inbred p.o.s. ! His statement is very intelligent. This was hardly professional in my opinion. In and out of every zone tripping on wires half lit pyro. Not to mention installed 500 gramers. All this guy was saying is something like wire conduit or no go zones. Not to bright I think. LMAO and you know how he votes . Man you shame whatever party you belong to . And I'm a republican. Good day sir.
fast match.. next time try using 'sticky match' saves time and it's awesome! Super time saver and you can still always add in choke points for delay afterwards.
can anybody tell me how I can get ahold of Dave to be able to talk about pyrotechnics cuz I have some questions I would like to ask him but I don't know how to get ahold of him besides through pyro talk.com but it won't let me get on pyro talk.com so is there another way? so I really very much appreciate it if someone could let me know or even Dave himself thanks
Why would you light fireworks after the finale? That's stupid, the crowd then gets confused & sticks around & leaves thinking of a stupid amateur show.

To bad the end has cut off of the video. Was interesting part to watch.
hey mate done some test firing on my channel Monday from UK just so u can see how massive UK rockets are going check them out
You need 'no go' areas where wires are, to stop people tripping on them.
Rolls of tape in a bright color.
the fucks your problem

Because law requires you to either light, destroy or return the product to the Lic holders magazine
