Oh Julie another lovely piece of art. And yes I see the rock wall too. 100 years ago when we travelled through the UK via the Lake District into Scotland the dry rock walls were a lovely and memorable feature of that trip. You never give up snd see potential in whatever the paint goddess dishes you up. Your work inspires me to do better. thank you once again for sharing your talent with us all. Good luck on the move and be safe, well and happy hugs Deb
Well a little younger but not that much! We did the Lake District in 1988 - wow that seems so long ago!! Been back over a few times since but did Bath, Gloucester and Cotswolds etc last time. And Shhhh I turn 58 in June! Feels like a 100 sometimes though. And people do sometimes think I’m younger as I’m only 5’1”. I don’t understand it myself, like being a bit little makes a big difference? 🤷♀️ who knows! You understand what I’m saying!! Hugs again
Give it a go! Draw something out on tracing paper first, over the top of the painting. Look at photos on the internet to use as reference. Good luck! 🤗
I love your work Julie and just catching up with all your videos. For your base you said in your last video that you used Owatrol. Can you please tell me percentage with house paint?
Hello Denise, this was such a long time ago, I can’t remember!! I don’t use owatrol anymore, I just use PVA. Either way it would be the same, I treat it exactly the same as my normal colours. I use one part paint to one part pouring medium and water to the correct consistency. This can change from time to time, I think at the time of this video I may have been mixing 5>1 as I was using golden paints which are very highly pigmented. Hope this helps, please message me if you have any further questions 😀
I loved the bottom before you swiped with the black.
Yes, looking back over the video I thought that too!!

It looked quite nice to me before you embellished it. But of course you did a fantastic job with that. Hope your move was smooth.

You mentioned brush pens ? Are they acrylic?
No Linda... I think it’s just ink. Had it for ages.
