  • 75% of people will experience foot pain in their lives from poor-fitting footwear, working on their feet for long hours, or high-impact exercise. At Kintec, we design custom orthotics to correct your foot function, alleviate pain, and help you stay active!
We start the fitting process by getting to know you better.
We take into account how much you stand at your job, the types of activities you do, and how much time you spend on your feet everyday. This information will allow us to build a personal profile that we will use as a basis of your custom orthotic design.
Everyone has a different body form whether at rest or in motion, and as a result, we need to look at every aspect of your mechanics to understand the correction your feet require.
We evaluate how the mechanics in your feet are affecting the alignment of your legs and the rest of your body. We then provide solutions to help correct these mechanics.
We use what we learn about you to build the perfect fitting orthotic.
Using the latest in 3D laser scanning technology, we have developed proprietary software which allows us to capture the most accurate 3D model of your feet. Our technicians then input those digital scans into our CAD/CAM software and our team creates your custom orthotics in-house.
By combining raw materials with different cushioning and energy return rates we can incorporate over 20,000 mechanical characteristics into your orthotics. Our team of Kinesiologist’s and Canadian Board Certified Pedorthist’s will create orthotics that are individually tailored to your feet and body mechanics.
As times goes by, your lifestyle may change, and so can your footcare needs. Our orthotics are designed to be serviceable and customizable to meet your ever evolving needs.

This sounds cool, but probably very expensive.
