It does not sound like words. If you experience the sensation of hearing the words it’s because you remember the words that were said. If you listened to the piano sounds on their own, you don’t know what it says. This is because of the timbral differences between the piano and the fluctuations of our voice’s timbre that produces recognizable English. Sorry to say that I believe childhood you was wrong, but childhood me used to believe that garage door openers worked from any distance, so I can’t really judge.

Chris W I would be interested to know if you could identify what the piano was saying if you didn’t hear the English words first. My assumption would be no, predominantly because of psychological hindsight bias but go off sis.

It's like many other efffwcts, like the mwlody scrumbled by octaves etc, needs other clue with other perceiving 'instruments', then our brain does the magic

"This video was made in Reaper and Blender, with final editing/compositing done in Davinci Resolve."
It's.. text on a black screen. Reaper can do that by itself. What did you need Blender for? What would "compositing" even mean in this context?

It's boilerplate copy from the whole series of which this is an excerpt, which involved animation, etc. Even though this video didn't require Resolve, it was technically made with it, so there you go.

Good day! How to disguise audiolas, the words of melody, sounds? What are the options for this?
How to hide the technical solution in the audio or some effect word or recorded audio offer?

I would not have been able to decipher the words with only hearing the piano. This is an illusion, but not a real phenomenon that can make a piano talk. It's interesting, and the pitch matching of the voice is correct, but there are no phonetic clues as to what is being said from the notes of the piano - so while you might be able to somewhat guess at times, it's not a real thing. It would be just like me humming what I am speaking without opening my mouth.

I heard a demonstration of talking from a Yamaha piano. It was understandable.

It truly only sounded like piano to me. Real question: Does the fact that I’m a pianist affect how well this audio illusion works?
Anyway, glad it didn’t work for me because if it did, I ASSURE you I’d never touch piano again!!! 😳

I don't want to scare you off the piano :-), but if you want to try again to hear it there are a few other examples on RUclips you can check out.

Pianos and a lot of other instruments speak it's called music. Hear an instrumental song and the same song with lyrics and then the instrumental version and you'll understand.
