The level of trust in this is amazing. Many people don't realize how important that is or how long it takes to be able to establish that trust. Most people who dance are intimate, especially like that. But even to find one that you're not, but is willing and able to work with you on any level, is something special.
That is true. I have a couple girls who trust me enough to at least try some stuff. I have multiple nights dancing with them though and zero drops yet, so their confidence in me is high... so far lol
4:31 - I analyzed that last trick and this is also called the Lady's Reverse Back-To-Back Roll To Shoulder Straddle, Leading into Lady's Sweeping Roundoff Past Man's Head into Ballet Fish Dive.
no official name that I know of, but I've heard it called a variation of "around the world", which is also sometimes used to mean behind and around the back too.
With the right arm against the back, give some upward and forward pressure greater than a typical cross-body lead. The "greater than normal pressure" shouldn't ever force the move, but it does usually cue the follow that something new/different is going to happen, which, if the follow is familiar with leg moves, will usually raise the leg. Doesn't always work :-)
It's definitely harder to do most lifts/tricks in heels (re: balance and such). Suggest learning without, and then adding them in so that long-term, one's comfortable with them (since most performances prefer the heeled-look
Holaaa. 5 años más tarde 😅 *Dips* : cuando un hombre se inclina hacia atrás una mujer hacia el suelo. *Tricks* : movimientos elegantes *Lifts* : cuando un hombre levanta a una mujer en el aire ¡Aprendo español!
+MagicStroke7 It's salsa, however the moves are often seen in many latin dances. If you alter the tempo and tweak the aesthetic you can use the basic moves in many styles. Lifts and dips are usually 'above and beyond' most core styles... however salsa and swing (the faster styles) tend to have the most lifts, while the smoother more elegant ones also have a lot of dips (rumba, bolero).
Go dancing several times a week for as long as it takes for the dancing to become more important than the partner. Then _she_ will find _you_ . You become interesting because you have passion for the dancing.

no official name that I know of, but I've heard it called a variation of "around the world", which is also sometimes used to mean behind and around the back too.

thanks for this video, these are great! I'm guessing you'd have to ditch the heels for some of these though, right?

Don't try this at home... Do that when you are dancing with a tiny little skinny dancer...
Haha, like me I'm tiny 😅
My lady is too heavy for that. :-)) But thanks for the great video!
The lady looks light as a feather what are you talking about
@@mercylessplayer he said MY lady. And that lady looks a little heavy for lifts too just no morbidly fat
...maybe you just need to beef up your muscles to accommodate doing lifts/tricks with your partner... 🤠
