Nice review. Sounds interesting. That's cool he'll also be planning to direct a new Evil Dead film.

Definitely recommend it! Sounds like the Evil Dead films were some of the movies that inspired him to want to make movies so can't wait to see what he does with it

I was very disappointed in this movie. Had tons of hopes for it, very unsatisfying and overrated

@@PopCultureWithPat It's ok man, it happens. Not all movies can satisfy us. I was really looking forward to it, enjoyed the first hour though, the last 30 minutes fell apart for me. The first hour had a lot of good stuff, cinematography, cast, tone was good. But I still felt that the characters were taking a backseat to the plot. Still, it had good stuff to keep it going. Then the last 30 happened. We got rid of the only two characters I was rooting for, and we focused on an underdeveloped, unlikable character. Won't go into details here, but I think you know what I'm referring to. I think a lot of independent film fans will enjoy this film and it could develop a cult following, but it won't be a breakthrough film

@leebrandt8597 that's completely fair, I was surprised what happened with one of the characters as I thought they were going to make it to the end so totally get what you mean there. A lot of potential for Francis though, I'm excited to see him tackle Evil Dead
