The Last Stop in Yuma County is one of the best movies of this year. Great film! Saw also the film Jim was in called The Wolf of Snow Hollow another great film and can really see Jim becoming a fan favorite. If I were to write a noir or a mystery Jim would so be in it!
Anything that captures that No Country for Old Men or Silence of the Lambs is such great gritty story.

Just finished watching, thought it was absolutely amazing! The acting, cinematography, editing and sound/soundtrack was perfect, my impression was a mixture of Hitchcock, McCarthy and Tarantino, was perfect! 😚🎬🎥

Well he was the executive producer. I think they made a fine attempt. Well at least a sincere attempt but could not utilize the premise effectively. They needed to really highlight the theme well. What prevented them from setting up the plot where Jim sort of befriends the waitress Charlette and they plan to run away with the loot. Charlette just wants to run away from her husband because she wants better life. Then Charlette tells the other girl who is her friend that she is running away. Then the other girl and her boy friend come in to take the loot.
You know really develop the plot where every character sort of gets sucked into the greed of easy money. And questions of morality arise. This was a bland and unimaginative screenplay to an interesting idea.
Same thing was tried in Your Lucky Day. But story also could not utilize its premise as well. It did of course a better job of setting up the plot and highlighting the themes.

“Jim Cummings” seriously deserves MORE praise. Not only did he make 2 Fantastic films (I wasn’t fond of the “The Beta Test”) but he starred in THIS surprise Goodness.
