I use the 'I can't complain but sometimes I still do' line all the time when someone asks me how I'm doing. A. It gets a laugh everytime and B. It surprises me how many people have never heard this song
Absolutely! My suggestion would be The Eagles Live March 1977...you get the full Joe package! Vocals, guitar, talk box and a mesmerizing performance 🎧✌🎸🎸🎤
Joe's been cranking out high quality rock and roll for a lot of years with the James Gang, the Eagles and as a solo artist. Everybody say, "Joe's cool". He's cool.
No, The Eagles are a band Joe Walsh graced with his presence. Glen Frey & Don Henley heard Joe doing a finger warm up riff they turned into "Life In The Fast Lane"
This song is a parody of being a Rock Star. "Tear out the walls" sounds like what Keith Moon (The WHO) and Joe used to do when they toured together. Joe Walsh is just having some fun here, but it's a great song.
Yeah Joe said that part of the lyrics was for Keith Moon. He said "For some reason Keith liked me." ...followed by sleepless nights that they paid dearly for later. 😁
Joe Walsh said, “the worst thing that ever happened to me was when Keith Moon decided he liked me” dude has lived theeeee rock-n-roll lifestyle to its pinnacle 😂
There is a great live version of this on the "Eagles Live" album. Joe Walsh in addition to his solo career also was a member of James Gang and Eagles respectively
There is also another live version that appears to either be SNL or a talk show, and it is an abomination lol. He is forgetting the words and barely intelligible. Higher than a kite on something, or multiple things lol
@@andreawalter9212 Did you know that Joe was at Kent State University when the 4 students were gunned down by the National Guard and that is the inspiration for the lyrics? I think it's just as relevant today "Backyard people and they work all day, tired of the speeches and the way that the reasons keep changin' ...just to make the words rhyme"
Aw yeah I love this song I saw him do it live, he added sound effects during the song like when he says "I lost my license now I don't drive" he added in a police siren. He also added in a doorbell when he says "it's hard to leave when you can't find the door, it was amazing. Can you react to Burning for you by blue oyster cult next please?
He's cool. Love Joe Walsh. He has a lot of great hits with James Gang, solo, and with the Eagles. Also, his wife is sister to Ringo Star's wife. I hope there is a way you could listen to the Eagles and all their solo artist's hits as well. Glenn Frey, Don Henley have huge hits especially from the 80s. They will probably be blocked though because of copyright laws.
Joe Walsh is one of my favorite guitar players. Joe Walsh did solo stuff, he formed the group the James Gang and also is a member of the Eagles. Possibly more but those I know for sure
"I can't complain, but sometimes I still do." -- Joe Walsh This is one of my favorite lines. I swear I use it in my everyday life, at least once per week. 😁
Joe has a great sense of humor! He made it through addiction and can still even laugh at himself & life’s absurdities. It wasn’t a “hit” but his song “ The Bomber” from his great album James Gang Rides Again is incredible. If you haven’t reacted to it, his first solo “hit,” “Rocky Mountain Way is a classic! Thanks, Javaughn!
"This is gonna be a good one." Oh, you haven't heard anything yet! Joe is a Guitar God and one of the all-time crazy characters of rock. He started out with the legendary group James Gang, went solo for a while, joined The Eagles while still putting out solo albums, continued his solo career when the Eagles broke up, toured with Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band for a while, then went back to the Eagles when they reunited. Joe did some serious partying in his life. He's cleaned up his act in the last few years and now admits that he's VERY lucky to be alive! There's actually a hidden track that was on the album after this song called A Flock Of Wa-Wa's. I'm not sure if it was included on this video or not, but it's funny as hell.
This is one of the best guitar players ever... he is up there with Eddie Van Halen and others. He was the guitarist for the Eagles. That electronic part, my Uncle wore hearing aids and when that played he thought his hearing aids were messed up 😂.
5,000 short of 90,000! Not bad, man! Kicken it with the likes of Joe Walsh. Can't go wrong. How about you throw in some Jimmy buffet. Maybe celebrate with some home grown Bob Marley at 100,000!!
I graduated high school in 1998 and a friend of mine quoted...'I go to parties sometimes until 4...it's hard to leave when you can't find the door.' Needless to say his parents were not amused when the yearbook came out and they saw that ;p This has always been one of my favorite songs, it's so fun yet it rocks.
Oh Yeah! Now we're talkin'! I wore the grooves off this 45! Yes, you should hear 'Rocky Mountain Way' it rawks! Probably should try & do live version of 'Hotel California' 1st, it's a classic. Joe's 1 of a kind & when you hear him, you know it's him from the 1st chord & you know it's gonna be awesome! Thanks for the great reactions tonite & the big smiles! 😁💖
"What's that sound?" I don't know if anyone else commented-the twanging sound is a mouth harp, sometimes called a Jew's harp. you put it between your teeth (or lipes) and "twang" it with your finger. I love it they way you enjoyed this song. It was meant to be a fun song, but at the same time, it's got killer instrumentation.
This one is MADE for you Jayvee! I have been watching you long enough to know you were going to love this one. We bought the single way back in the 70's and WORE THIS SONG OUT on my mother's 1956 Seeburg Jukebox.
OMG this is one of my favorites. When I was first getting into my own on music I said to a friend (who was way older in my defense) Joe Walsh wasn't part of the Eagles and everybody at the table kind of just looked at me and I was told no Joe Walsh wasn't IN the Eagles, Joe Walsh WAS the Eagles. I think of that every time I hear a Joe Walsh song lol You still have to do that Warren Zevon song for me though! 💝 its keep me in your heart for awhile and while you are checking out Warren Zevon check out his better known song, Warewolves of London. You'll thank me, I promise
Awesome! Awesome Reaction Indeed. So awesome to see how much you genuinely enjoy the old classic tunes and rock'n out. Seen Joe Wslsh in concert and what an awesome concert it was. He really put on a show.
Joe also spent time in Australia as a member of The Party Boys , a good rockin' band . He is one of the guitars in the song Hotel Cali from his first album with the Eagles.
And he was in James Gang and the Eagles Too, Now you need to listen to the album "The Smoker You Drink The Player You Get" hit song Rocky Mountain Way!
Was lucky enough to see Joe with the eagles at Wembley on the hotel california tour, love him, lucky that way, rocky mountain way great songs, great show👍
Another good song from a former Eagles guitarist is "Heavy Metal" (Takin a ride) by Don Felder. You'll like it Jay. It's also used in one of the best episodes of South Park.
Joe also played the guitar for a two hit wonder called Jay Ferguson and his songs, Thunder Island and Shakedown Cruise. Both fantastic gems due in no small part to Joe's guitar work. We also here In The City on a Rick and Morty.
The first time I heard this song I was in my friend's red pickup truck. It was my first experience being in a car that my friend drove, with no adults around. We could do that back then. Summer, windows open, with my cute-ish friend. Living in a house on a dead end street. Happy, peaceful. Good memories. I also heard Rocky Mountain Way by Walsh in this same truck.
Life’s Been Good was released as a single in support of its parent album, But Seriously, Folks... in 1978. The song proved to be such a hit that it became a staple for all Eagles concerts. The song peaked at #12 on the US Billboard Hot 100, #6 on the US Cash Box Top 100, #11 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart, #13 on the Irish Singles Chart, #32 on the New Zealand Singles Chart and #14 on the UK Singles Chart. I hope you can react to Joe’s spoken word version of Life’s Been Good. Link will be coming to you via IG.
"Joe's a very interesting bunch of guys." - Don Henley
I love that quote 😂

a trick: watch series on kaldrostream. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Colin Niko Yup, been using Kaldrostream for years myself =)

Walsh is one of the greatest guitarists ever but he always had a great sense of humor.

Hey JayVee!!! Please do Kenny Loggins, "This Is it", "Forever", and "Meet Me Halfway" Thank you sir!!!!
The Eagles - "Seven Bridges Road"
Don't forget the Horndogs with Drew, Lewis and Oswald. Ed was the best part.
This song is a parody of being a Rock Star. "Tear out the walls" sounds like what Keith Moon (The WHO) and Joe used to do when they toured together. Joe Walsh is just having some fun here, but it's a great song.
Yes!!!
A little reggae beat in chorus.
Knowing Joe, I think it's closer to "Tongue-In-Cheek Autobiography" than parody LOL, man knows what he was about.
Yeah Joe said that part of the lyrics was for Keith Moon. He said "For some reason Keith liked me." ...followed by sleepless nights that they paid dearly for later. 😁
"Rocky Moutain Way"
"Walk Away" (When Joe was in the James Gang)
"Funk #49" (James Gang)
"In The City" ( When Joe is with The Eagles)
In The City is a personal favorite Eagles’ song
Jay, Joe Walsh was a member of the Eagles for a long time. You can tell his style. Speaking of which, More Eagles would be great

Absolutely!!!!
The greatest rock and roll satire song of all-time!!!!... or, another way of looking at it - Joe Walsh's real life. Great song! Great reaction!
Joe Walsh! I was just watching him on Live From Daryl’s House. Another fantastic guitarist from the 70’s! Keep it up man!

FUN FACT: Joe Walsh owned a 1964 Maserati 5000 GT.
It’s an autobiography
Also he is big into HAM radio.
Joe Walsh was a legend as a guitarist and has a very unique voice. Word has it that Keith Moon taught Joe how to party hard in hotels!!!!
And that ladies and gentleman is Rock and Roll... Great reaction Jayvee. You might wanna check out "All Night Long" it's another banger
You have to watch the live at daryl's house version....... It Rocks
Joe Walsh said he only drank one drink, but it lasted 20 years.😁
Great parody of the rock and roll lifestyle that Joe Walsh lived to the full - nice reaction.
