Thank you. I quite agree with you- polio is not eradicated- I try to sensibilize around me... I do try. I had polio at the age of 6, totally paralized except respiratory functions. I recovered nearly fully and I had the life I wanted... until post polio- around 48. And now I suffer more and more, appreciating life more and more. I am living in France- So pleased to hear all of you, héros de la polio.
I got polio at age 2 from neck downand intestines wear dead . The doctors in Mexico didn't want to attend me because highly infectious at the time. My aunts took me home kept me in a room wouldn't let my brothers and sisters near me was just laying in bed. One of my aunts prayed for me because doctors said i was not going to live. To this day im 60 and i just have polio on my right leg had children and now grandkids. Im so thankful and blessed to havepio just on my right leg❤ 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Jesus.
My wife had polio in the legs as a toddler in 1944, and recovered with a thin right leg and a slight limp. As she reached 60 she got PPS, with severe tiredness as a result. She had to reduce to 50% working time, then 25%, and finally retirement. As walking became more laboured she was told to use two canes, which worked well until 2014. Then she was provided with a wheelchair, and by 2017 could no longer stand. Finally she passed away from heart failure in 2020.
I come after found an innocent 10 months baby got polio in genocide. He cannot get further treatment and her mother keep crying. It really breaks my heart for what US and Israel did. Please i beg you to help him
