Girl's Last Tour has the best ending I've ever read in anime/manga It's an absolute end. There is nothing left to continue, nothing to imagine what might happen next. It's... the end...
There are some things to be imagined. The last scene are them in some kind of wheat field, some people say the rock they lean to are teleport machine. Remember the rockets they saw and the trajectory; one stop somewhere and the latest one keep going on without end. Humanity could be in that ship, and the one connecting earth and the ship are the rocks that sits on the very top level. Others say they just dead, and the last image is just some kind of heaven. Though i very much agree that the ending was great since the whole story itself is about existencial crisis and life choices and ethics and stuff so its like the ending is the same with life. What actually happened is what us choose to happen.
Not just that, but entropy as a universal concept that we must accept. One day, even starts will cease to exist, what theory was right for the aftermath? The universe simply has to wait
I feel as though it's more about "making the best out of a bad situation" as the girls never really fall into despair, they just keep trudging and doing their best day by day. Even when the inevitable comes, they still accept it and just let it be.
Girls' Last Tour was such a surreal experience. Calming and philosophical pondering why and how we should live. This is one of my hidden gems. Yeah, both manga and anime are great and deserve checking out. Anime boasts with its superb soundtrack and direction, and manga shows a more finished story.
GLT is definitely one of those hidden gems of anime. One thing not mentioned here is the truly great musical soundtrack that is used to great effect. I certainly recommend this series as it is well told, with good animation, pacing, and music. Well worth watching.
And there was a poem with the last chapter: (getting a bit teary right now) "Do not mourn, someday Night will come For then Above the pale Earth The cold Moon will smile silenty as we watch *Holding hands in Rest* Do not mourn for someday that time will come And *we will rest* Our little crosses will stand on white waysides All lined up together And then the Rains will fall, And the snows will fall, And the winds will come and go. (these are not tears, me eyes are just sweating)
As dark as it gets in times, I find that there's just something awfully nice in Girl's Last Tour. Even after everything has ended, and nothing can really be some to start over, good and nice things cam still happen. Yuri and Chito can still find things to be joyous about, and even if that fails, they still got eachother. I try to reflect that same way of thinking to my own life, especially during more depressive episodes. As dark as it seems, good things can and will still happen and there are still people you can hold on. Sometimes, you just have to become friends with despair.
On the topic of how the manga talks about reasons to live for - at one point it's shown how one of Chito's books is Schopenhauer's The World as Will and Representation - the philosopher Schopenhauer talked about how Will doesn't depend on reason/knowledge but actually is a force on itself that makes reason find an object to strive for. Coincidentally going to the top layer is something Chito and Yuuri do sort of as an excuse to give their journey an overall goal, yet their journey does not depend on this goal for meaning. Tkmiz is exceptionally well read and is the mangaka that I've seen work with subtlety the best, something other authors cannot dream of, where everything is overt even if their series are actually deep. This is my favorite manga, I found it extremely touching and relatable. Thanks for making a video on it! The anime adaptation was also extremely good, I loved the soundtrack. I hope at some point they manage to animate the rest of the story but sadly there's not enough content for one season I believe... Take care and I hope you're all getting along with hopelessness.
While in the middle of watching this video, I suddenly started... crying. Seeing all these clips and images of them, bit by bit my memories of them start to resurface, all the good moments, the sad moments, and finally... that last chapter. I know the message of this manga, I've also accepted it and have moved on. But remembering all those moments, and then feelings of joy, sadness, nostalgia at the same time. I was over overwhelmed and just can't help but cry a bit.
Same. Also the background music, and all human kind memories.... I cry.. like... We know that stuff will happen, but it is just inevitable. We know, but there is almost nothing we can do about that.... :')
tkmiz's art is some of the best i've seen. such a weird style for drawing and animating but it works so well. i watched the anime and then got the manga simply for the art
Check out panpanya's short story/essay collection, An Invitation from a Crab, for a similar art style. It is like Girls' Last Tour, but rather urban/contemporary and much more surreal.
the thought of death scares me, just doing your everyday tasks but you can die at any day, any hour, any minute, and any second. it could all just turn black. and the thought of it staying black forever as a hell is terrifying to me.
If it helps, I like to think that when we die, we return to wherever all the energy in the universe comes from, that we become one with existence, and in that way, we never really leave, we are everywhere, in the clouds, in the stars, in every person and every living creature. I don't know, it makes me feel better, I like to think that much like matter, this thing that we call soul doesn't disappear but transforms into something else.
Damn this right here really, really, hits hard. I'm batshit terrified of the void too, so in order to calm myself down when I begin thinking about it too much I like to imagine that after you die you hopefully get reincarnated, and if multiverse theory is true, potentially get reincarnated into other universes.
I'd rather be in hell than be in an eternal void. At least there I have thoughts, I can live, maybe converse with the entities there. It would be terrifying but I would get used to it. The black void terrifies me.
Amazing and criminally under watched series...though I can understand that not everybody would appreciate more philosophical approach of the show/manga.
Yeah me too, honestly I think it would have been better if amazon prime hadn't grabbed it. A lot of people just don't want to put the effort into seeing it
there is no chaos, there is in fact a lack of it, its just, empty, dead. Its finding harmony on the end of everything, a motive to continue when there is nothing left
I watched the anime as it came out and loved it, read the manga a couple months ago and had the same experience as you, with the Oblivion and the last few chapters being my favorite. I can't recommend Girls Last Tour enough.
This manga make me think of both Made in Abyss and Blame. And even if i am a only fan of the first one, and not the second, your video definitely make me want to read it
Never saw or read blame what is it exactly? I love made in a abyss and girls last tour but I have never heard of it. Dare I voyage into this "blame" that you mentioned?
I´m a great fan of Blame and the side mangas ( Biomega, Abara) and the similarities hitted me. Don´t really remember where the first volume of Blame! ends, but it´s way more than just searching for a human with non-infected DNA. The non-infected DNA can freely access the network without alert the silicon life (basically robots that primary kills any human in sight) and control it and stop the constructors from keep expanding the megastructure-city.
This being my number 1 all time favorite, Made in Abyss takes an easy second. Not a close one per say as I love SSR too much, but an easy one for sure.
I think i’m actually going to hold off on listening to this video for a while. I’m a few minutes in and i’m already very interested in checking out the story, so i’m gonna watch/read it and then come back to finish later. I love your content btw, it’s always very calming for me :)
Reading this on kissmanga, I made friends who were reading around the same pace. One of them introduced me to have a nice life, an album by deathconciousness. I ended up reading the last few chapters to there is no food, and a quick one before the eternal worm devours Connecticut. It took me months to recover from it, but i remember the experience very fondly.
Well, after being told that everyone should try their best to stay in their homes, and that it may last for a few months, it almost feels like a post apocalypse may happen (even though that’s SOOOOO unlikely) but even still, this gave me a lil’ bit of hope, so thanks :)
Yeah, society isnt going to collapse because of corona (if something it might actually make us stronger) but there are definetly going to be some rough times coming up

It sometimes surprises me how much deeper moral issues(questions?) draw me to certain anime/manga. One might think that people only consume anime/manga because of flashy action, or over-the-top drama (though I do like that, too). But, the ones that stick in my mind are ones like these that are a quieter kind of weirdness from anime or manga.
I've always seen these characters but always assumed it was another moe story. This story is much deeper and more philosophical than I ever imagined. Once again Hiding in public has given me more to think about as i continue reading manga and watching anime. Thanks Hiding for being here for all of us
I think the anime leans in a bit more on the Moe angle, but basically everything in the series is constructed around philosophical questions, with Yuuri generally being care free and Chito being concerned about the answers. The art also gets gorgeous. I hope you like it!
Watched the first few minutes of this video and knew that I was gonna love this series, now that I've watch the first chapter, I can say I expect this to be Tarkovski's Stalker with cute anime girls, or something on the lines of the specials of Kino no Tabi
Watching Girl's last tour anime was a soothing experience. Even if the series goes philosophical and dark, its still has that calming effect on someone. I never thought of checking out its manga, but definitely, I wanna read it all now after watching your video. :) Continue to be awesome :D
I read Girls' Last Tour knowing nothing about it beforehand, having only heard about it from the Wide World of Anime Art video mentioned at the end of this video, and going into it knowing nothing at all, the dialogues of the girls and the other characters as well as the ending blew my mind, definitely my favorite manga ever.
You know, i first encountered this show in a generic "streaming" site. I was strolling through new updated anime episode. Then I saw the wallpaper, so mesmerising and very lonely. I clicked on the episode not knowing anything about the show, not reading the synopsis, and not reading comment. Just clicked the play button and the main theme just hit you to the face. I didn't regret wasting 25 min. A week and waiting 2 months and a week for the show. Sorry for the rambling. The wallpaper pic just resonates(if you can call it that) to me, and it is as expected of what is in the story. I still remember the feeling when it struck me.
I discovered Tsukumizu with a fan piece he wrote for one of my favorite franchise its called "Flan wants to die". Lets say it had a very unique atmosphere. So when I heard an anime was made out of one of his original work, which I didnt know he did, I sure as hell watched it, loved it and then went to the source. It was quite a roller coaster even though the setting is always so eerily relaxed. I dont think any other work compares....Hmmm maybe Blame! but that one still has a different vibe most of the time.
If you're here and you haven't finished the Manga, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you finish it. In the anime, they added bits and pieces to tease you to continue the story by reading the manga. They also ended it on a good note for the TV, BUT remember it's literally on the title that it's their "LAST TOUR". The ending sequence, Tsukumizu herself did the key animation on it. (Also one of the scenes there are literally from the last chapter of the manga.) The Ending song "More One Night" could also mean phonetically "Mou wan nai" or "Mou Owaranai" means "It's still not done", yet. "Cures Depression with Depressive things and still feel Peaceful about it." Everything has an end and that's okay. TKMIZ has a new manga! "Shimeji Simulation" This one has a different tone but you'll feel the Tsukumizu thing. I love how tkmiz writes.
I read the manga because of this video. And I wanna thank you for it. It holds a special place in my soul. And I wouldn’t have known about it if it weren’t for your channel.
I discovered this channel through the Rant Cafe. Hiding is one of my favorite guests. I'd love to see a video where you talk about your favorite anime or characters similar to what Nux did

Finishing Girl's Last Tour...... What do i do with these feels? It's so bleak but bittersweet, beautiful yet barren, densely layered themes but at the heart of it was hope
This series messes with me in the most loving way. Honestly can't sing its praises enough to fully give it justice but its a beautiful series! Love your video, it was the perfect way of refeeling everything ^^
I'm someone who almost doesn't cry watching movies or animes, the ones that did are just a few. But after watching this anime i read the remaining chapters of the manga and while reading the last 2 chapters, i was listening the ost "Hazumu Kokoro" from the anime.... after reading the last chapter i went to the bathroom to cry, the ending hit me really hard.
You inspired me to read this and watched then anime so I did before watched this and now have watched this video too many times as I just enjoy you explaining it and makes me happy as I remember reading it
No clue how this actually showed up in my feed or how people find this now, but goddamn have I never clicked faster than at the sight of Chito in my RUclips.
Thank you so much for making this video. It convinced me to read Girls' Last Tour and that lead to a lot of reflection and eventually changing the way I look at the world completely, for the better. I can't thank you enough, as you making this video seriously fixed my life.
The only thing that came to my mind after the part of the plane was like, she ended up close to the Map Maker, and now they are both laying down on the floor like "we are just waiting for this to end or something else to happen"
I’ve found that I really relaxed to this channel as a whole because the thoughts and ideas on this entire channel reminds me of the way I think and see things, I just don’t have a place to properly share them.
So I've been wanting to read girls last tour but I've been reading the manga for Nausicaa and In/spectre (Thanks to you) so I haven't had the time to read, anyway good video and as usual keep up the good work, peace✌
Based on first impression: Makes me think of a reverse 'Made in Abyss' - The art style (of the characters) - Two kids in a mostly devoid of human life environment - Climbing up/down to reach the top/bottom
That anime was the single most aesthetic piece of dystopian art I've ever seen. Never been a huge fan of the genre/trope ('it's the future and we're all fcked and the end is inevitable'), but the story was just so heart-warming, adorable and simple, but structured all within a cold, cruel and coplicated world that is just about to end. I was blown away completely, and am still wondering why this wasn't a lot more popular.
@@HidinginPublic it reminds me a little of "Kino's Journey." Everything is a koan. Even 'Kino'(昨日) means 'yesterday.' The pacing reflects a reverance that is necessary when gleaning anything from these stories within stories.
I like the comfy and simple artstyle combined with the message of that anime. It feels like regardless of the goal they have, they're happy with what they have.
I have a this weird theory that popped in my mind. The two girls are actually forms that death itself took and that the people they met are dead and stuck in the world. The only way for them to go to the afterlife is to complete what they've failed to do.
It's almost so peaceful and calming only worrying about what you gonna do next but still sad and feel happy because of the mc is perfect for each other
Whenever I see this anime I always cry the ending was so sad A Long Long Journey comes to an End with both of us *Till the last bit of time Holding each others hand and touching each others soul*
The only thing I didn't like about the anime is that it didn't exactly complete the story... So it just kind of leaves them sitting there... Waiting for the end. But I guess that's kind of what they do in the manga, but in there is a sense of some accomplishment. Oh well! I still love both.
I'll never forget this manga, no matter what.. even though it was so short, that makes you just wanna savor it till the end more.. I remember crying my eyes out reading the last chapters in the middle of the night while laying down... man it just really gives you a different feel on life... it just makes you want to appreciate everything more.. and encourage a strong relationship like theirs.. its so fucking beautiful. waah.. wish i had a relationship like theirs... so playful and always there for each other :,( WAAAAAAH in the end having each other was the only thing that mattered... especially that stair scene where they were holding hands just walking up the stairs and they take the glove off to feel each other.. man.. I LOVE ITTT :,(((
I remember finding an old 1950s film here on RUclips called on the beach. It basically was about this military and civilian site in Australia that was coming to terms with the fact that there had been a nuclear event. The government was explaining to people how it would affect them and how to prepare for their end. Passing out cyanide capsules to families. It had the guy from psycho when he was very young, trying to get his wife to accept what was happening. It was extremely sad and Melancholy but I'm glad I watched it and it reminded me a lot of this.
[Spoiler] I finished it a few weeks ago, before that i wasn't really convinced by the concept of stories that are about the journey not the destination, the ending being for me a whole point or more when rating a show from 1 to 10. But not being told beforehand about the end, and actually being satisfied with an "empty" ending, it certainly has changed how i experience a show now, be it the journey or the destination.
I wish I could watch or read emotional anime or manga it's just to much emotional strain for me. Especially when it comes to endings, I really can't handle something finishing totally if it's wholesome or sad.
If you dont know the ending of manga and dont think about it too much, it’s actually just another wholesome slice of life, and its done amazingly and has a happy and light feeling. But once you know about the ending of the manga, one of the things you cant unsee and inremember.... its just too sad.....
I absolutely adore this anime/manga. It’s the perfect mix of cute moe stuff and deep philosophical themes. And the feeling you get while watching/reading is something special, it’s depressing yet positive at the same time. Easily in my top 15.
@@HidinginPublic They have a new manga called Shimeji Simulation. It is pretty interesting and surreal but in a way that doesn't feel random to me. Not many chapters are out however.
I remember going into a whole week of depression after finishing the manga. It came close to the existential crisis that was impaled into me when I learned about the heat death itself. The movie A.I. got me weak on the knees when I was young. And recently reading a story about a lone frozen fossil of a molluscoid tuck away in a hand dug tunnel, the last of its species in their dying planet.

As dark as it seems, good things can and will still happen and there are still people you can hold on. Sometimes, you just have to become friends with despair.
This series gave me literal goosebumps because of the sheer hopelessness that it potrays ❤️
@@paradoxus6098 I like to think of burning a corpse in a tomb after a supposed crucifixion.
Jesus died for your sins so that you don't have to fear death anymore and find salvation.
This is simultaneously the most beautiful, cutest, touching, and depressing anime I have ever watched.
I would say it's a happy ending, there is nothing more in the world, all that left is peace, and they found it.
Amazing and criminally under watched series...though I can understand that not everybody would appreciate more philosophical approach of the show/manga.
Yeah me too, honestly I think it would have been better if amazon prime hadn't grabbed it. A lot of people just don't want to put the effort into seeing it
@@HidinginPublic Wait, this series is on Amazon Prime? Holy fuck, am I glad I subscribed to it just for the Twitch Prime games! :D
This puts the line "Finding peace in chaos" in reality.
there is no chaos, there is in fact a lack of it, its just, empty, dead. Its finding harmony on the end of everything, a motive to continue when there is nothing left
Although i've only seen the anime, i've loved every bit of it.
It truly is an hidden gem and it deserves more attention.
YEY, A VIDEO ABOUT GIRLS LAST TOUR
HECC YE
You have no idea how much I love your work. Every time I finish watching one of your uploads I feel so satisfied.
❤️ Thank you, I hope I can keep creating stuff that makes you feel that way
i totally agree!! you managed to put it into words!
I watched the anime as it came out and loved it, read the manga a couple months ago and had the same experience as you, with the Oblivion and the last few chapters being my favorite. I can't recommend Girls Last Tour enough.
Yeah Oblivion and the stuff with her notepad at the end really stuck with me. Depressing stuff but I loved it
This manga make me think of both Made in Abyss and Blame. And even if i am a only fan of the first one, and not the second, your video definitely make me want to read it
Never saw or read blame what is it exactly? I love made in a abyss and girls last tour but I have never heard of it. Dare I voyage into this "blame" that you mentioned?
@@shirori2004 I have only read the first volume, but its about a man wandering in an endless cyberpunk city in ruins in order to find sane human DNA
@@sirius6738 intriguing. I suppose I will try it.
"I will not spoil-" scene of girls crying at sunset plays meanwhile.
I think i’m actually going to hold off on listening to this video for a while. I’m a few minutes in and i’m already very interested in checking out the story, so i’m gonna watch/read it and then come back to finish later. I love your content btw, it’s always very calming for me :)
All good, hope you come back and let me know what you think. Hope you enjoy the manga
As it’s been some time, I’m personally curious as to your thoughts if you wouldn’t mind sharing.
Yeah, society isnt going to collapse because of corona (if something it might actually make us stronger) but there are definetly going to be some rough times coming up
@@carso1500 Yes, but everything being out of stock isn't helping.
@@GthicratLastusednameCuterat i mean, the pandemic is basically already over save from a few places where their leaders are to stuborn to accept any help, there wasnt any apocalypse
I really hope you end up enjoying it
Im gonna miss those days where I’d just read Girls Last Tour at like 4AM, finishing a couple chapters each day.
Consider me sold on it! This is the first time this show wasnt pitched to me as "post-apocalipse moe"...
yeah I don't think I really loved the way people described it lol. It's not wrong I guess, but just seems to miss the bigger draw
Sounds good. My favourite apocalypse manga are 20th century boys, I am a hero and devilman. Hope this will goes to my favourite list.
This one has a lot more of a peaceful vibe and isn't as actiony but I hope you end up enjoying it!
Watching Girl's last tour anime was a soothing experience. Even if the series goes philosophical and dark, its still has that calming effect on someone.
I never thought of checking out its manga, but definitely, I wanna read it all now after watching your video. :)
Continue to be awesome :D
its also because the song, the whole ost is quite good. read the remaining manga with the full ost on for best emotional effect
Both this and Made in Abyss give the same vibe, and are some of my favourite anime of all time
The description of the world really reminded me of "BLAME!"
That was my first impression as well. The environment in this really reminds me of The City.
I'm glad you ended up loving it. Happy you found it through me as well! Always happy to introduce people to things
(Also one of the scenes there are literally from the last chapter of the manga.)
The Ending song "More One Night" could also mean phonetically "Mou wan nai" or "Mou Owaranai" means "It's still not done", yet.
"Cures Depression with Depressive things and still feel Peaceful about it."
Everything has an end and that's okay.
TKMIZ has a new manga! "Shimeji Simulation"
This one has a different tone but you'll feel the Tsukumizu thing.
I'd love to see a video where you talk about your favorite anime or characters similar to what Nux did
Thanks for coming over! If you want more of my 'rant cafe' type of humor, i'm more like that on my streams, but i'm sure I'll talk about some more of my favorite anime and haracters. I have a few videos like that sprinkled in on the channel here and there
Finishing Girl's Last Tour......
What do i do with these feels?
It's so bleak but bittersweet, beautiful yet barren, densely layered themes but at the heart of it was hope
This series messes with me in the most loving way. Honestly can't sing its praises enough to fully give it justice but its a beautiful series!
Love your video, it was the perfect way of refeeling everything ^^
i think you did a great job on this video. Thanks for something to keep me busy during these terrible time
I'm someone who almost doesn't cry watching movies or animes, the ones that did are just a few.
Love when hiding uploads. Also when hiding has an appearance in a nux video.
lol yeah that was bizzare wasn't it
Such a beautiful video. I'm coming back to it years later to remind myself i still need to read Girls last tour
The only thing that came to my mind after the part of the plane was like, she ended up close to the Map Maker, and now they are both laying down on the floor like "we are just waiting for this to end or something else to happen"
This was a great video. Thanks for doing it.
Oh great, depression, my favorite time to feel today.
You're all good, hope you're liking in/spectre. GLT is a lot less heavy on dialogue. Big atmospheric shots and banter mainly. Thanks for watching!
STOP, I DONT WANT TO REMEMBER THIS AGAIN
Based on first impression: Makes me think of a reverse 'Made in Abyss'
- The art style (of the characters)
- Two kids in a mostly devoid of human life environment
- Climbing up/down to reach the top/bottom
That anime was the single most aesthetic piece of dystopian art I've ever seen. Never been a huge fan of the genre/trope ('it's the future and we're all fcked and the end is inevitable'), but the story was just so heart-warming, adorable and simple, but structured all within a cold, cruel and coplicated world that is just about to end.
I was blown away completely, and am still wondering why this wasn't a lot more popular.
Girl's last tour?
more like
Everyone's last March

Thank you for sharing this.
It is the simplest ideas that have the capacity to be the most profound.
Of course! GLT is good at that
@@HidinginPublic it reminds me a little of "Kino's Journey."
Everything is a koan. Even 'Kino'(昨日) means 'yesterday.' The pacing reflects a reverance that is necessary when gleaning anything from these stories within stories.
It really is just SOL Blame!
and i love it.
It's almost so peaceful and calming only worrying about what you gonna do next but still sad and feel happy because of the mc is perfect for each other
This is kinda attractive I'm gonna have to read this, thank you hiding
wondeful, hope you like it
Huh, I had no idea that's what the story was about.
Thanks for talking about this show/manga! I'll have to check it out sometime

At the time the anime Aires the manga wasnt finished
@@MrTakajimi Huh, thanks.

I'll never forget this manga, no matter what.. even though it was so short, that makes you just wanna savor it till the end more.. I remember crying my eyes out reading the last chapters in the middle of the night while laying down... man it just really gives you a different feel on life... it just makes you want to appreciate everything more.. and encourage a strong relationship like theirs.. its so fucking beautiful. waah.. wish i had a relationship like theirs... so playful and always there for each other :,( WAAAAAAH in the end having each other was the only thing that mattered... especially that stair scene where they were holding hands just walking up the stairs and they take the glove off to feel each other.. man.. I LOVE ITTT :,(((
& then you got a manga like "FIRE PUNCH"

Just done reading it today and what a Ride
Is there some relation between the two?
@@teaMmMate
Both have nihilism
Then you have GO FOR A PUNCH, oh wait that didn't exists.
[Spoiler] I finished it a few weeks ago,
before that i wasn't really convinced by the concept of stories that are about the journey not the destination, the ending being for me a whole point or more when rating a show from 1 to 10. But not being told beforehand about the end, and actually being satisfied with an "empty" ending, it certainly has changed how i experience a show now, be it the journey or the destination.
Your videos are such a joy to listen to. Thank you for all the time you spend making videos like these! It's always a pleasure to see them.
Thank you for the nice comment! It makes the time put in even more worth it to me to recive something like this.
I wish I could watch or read emotional anime or manga it's just to much emotional strain for me. Especially when it comes to endings, I really can't handle something finishing totally if it's wholesome or sad.
I never thought a robot taking care of a little fish would make me cry, but here we are...
It's definitely unique. Tsukumizu needs to try their hand at another series. I want more!
@@HidinginPublic They have a new manga called Shimeji Simulation. It is pretty interesting and surreal but in a way that doesn't feel random to me. Not many chapters are out however.
What a great analysis! Thank you for sharing this. I've been looking for post-apocalyptic manga to read.
Just because you know that your going to die it doesn't mean you stop living to the fullest
This was really amazing
Thank you :)
for all fps game players who want to try to take up arms and feel the war, try to rethink the impact
We can see in this manga they just can feel hopeless and suffering
For this two girls in they Last journey I just can say good night you did great job
Love the way you interpret things man.
You gained a new subscriber. Reading GLT for the first time made question the way I look at life. How I often take things for granted. The way I react to basic human problems knowing some other people have it worse. Thank you for making this video.
Thanks for the sub and for sharing your experience. GLT needs to see more eyes and is truly amazing. It has a lot for people to reflect on that I think can be positive. Hope you enjoy the videos to come
Just finished binge reading this thanks to your video! Incredible manga, cant believe i let it fly under my radar
Thank you for showing me a new manga of my favorite genre to get absorbed into.
One of the most underrated greats out there. And I mean both SSR and Hiding.
Thank you for another wholesome video
Sure thing, thanks for taking the time to watch again
Hiding in Public Anytime, you’re videos make a big part of what my days are
When you described their world as layers of societies on top of other layers I had Blame! flashbacks. Never would’ve thought those two manga would be similar. Especially with how we don’t know how long they’ve been on their journey, just like Kyrii
There are a lot of parallels, looking past the more moe stuff some of the philosophical post appocalyptic stuff can get pretty similar
So, I know it’s really late but this idea reminds me of “Blame!”. That was a good one too, and I’ll definitely read Girl’s Last Tour myself.
Persona 2 music began playing, I am now contractually obliged to watch this entire video
