WHAT A STRONG, EMOTIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE. YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT "HELP" ARE SO TRUE - THANKS FOR YOUR REACTION TO THIS PERFORMANCE BY JOHN FARNHAM
Thanks for reacting again to this Australian legend. John is no normal vocalist he is a powerhouse and a great musician and entertainer. Can you please check out John Farnham “angels” live 2000.
I’m glad you enjoyed and appreciated our phenomenal Aussie treasure, John Farnham! We have loved him for 60 years here in Australia. We are all really looking forward to his movie coming out in May 2023, called: ‘John Farnham- finding The Voice’. It will be awesome! Please watch many more of his 6 decades of hit songs.
Contrary to popular belief this wasn't the last song of that particular night. He came out again after this song and sang 2 more in another encore! He had amazing vocal endurance
Thank you for reacting to our John Farnham. He is Australia's national treasure and apart from being outstandingly talented, he's just a beautiful human. Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel once said John Farnham was God showing off. This song was originally released by the Beatles but was much faster. John slowed it down and as a result, made it his own, to the admiration of the Beatles themselves I believe. Hoping you discover many of John's many other gems.
Lovely reaction, the song was actually written by The Beatles, from memory I think it was a Lennon/McCartney collaboration. Recommend you listen to the original & compare the contrast which huge. John recovered it on his "Uncovered" album from 1980. John Lennon heard it prior to his untimely death & praised it commenting that it's the way he intended it to be originally recorded but record company executives wanted it up tempo. John's version really brings out the true meaning of this brilliant & no one can convey emotion especially live like John can. A few more suggestions: Burn for you, We're no angels & John's magnificent collaboration with Olivia Newton John, "Please don't ask me" all live performances, enjoy the journey!
This mans voice is a gift. A living Legend and loved by the whole of Australia
